 🎎  Alison's P.O.V. 🎎

I have been having the worst week of my life.

First of all, I've been ignoring Tyler when we're out of school, which is very hard because he lives right next door. Sometimes, I don't even go out anymore, thinking he might spot me and would try to talk to me again. I just can't face him or even talk to him, I feel like shit every time I see him, which is very often since we're a fake couple when we're at school.

Second of all, I've been ignoring Hailey as well, saying that I'm busy with this huge essay that I'm doing for Literature which is a total lie. I don't want her to be involved with this, and I know if she did know about this, she would totally talk me into forgiving Tyler. When we do talk, I just try to keep it short and ignore the topic of Tyler and I.

Lastly, I've been crying all night long. I haven't had a decent sleep in a while. The good thing is nobody notices it because I have a secret on how to avoid having red eyes. All you have to do is splash water on your face and eyes after crying at night, so by morning time, you won't have red eyes and you eyes won't be so swollen.

I just don't think I could do it anymore. Tyler used to always go to my house or vice versa, but since I'm ignoring him, it's been pretty boring. I have been having mood swings lately because of lack of sleep, but have been hiding them when I'm in public. It's like I'm playing a role 24/7. I don't even know how I do it anymore. I must admit that my acting skills have been tested.

I'm so happy this week is over, but the bad part is its Saturday meaning I'm having breakfast with Tyler this morning. I just can't get a break, can I?

I groaned as I heard my doorbell rang. It's probably Tyler, I didn't want to take my car out since it's only a five minute drive and we're a couple, so we have to drive together at some point. My plan is to not talk to him for the whole ride. That's why I brought my earphones with me, so I don't need to hear his voice even if he talks to me.

I'm going to be a class A bitch.

I sound like a badass.

"Morning!" He greeted me with a huge grin on his face.

Why is he so happy?

I shrugged him off and went to his car. Oh, how I miss the smell of his car and the leather seats are just so comfortable.

'Focus, Ali! You're angry at the guy. Show him no mercy!!!' my conscience scolded me. I mentally nodded.

"So, how was your morning?" He asked me, trying to create a conversation, but I didn't respond to him at all. I just looked out of the car window, trying to admire the view that was changing every second. He didn't try after that. I guess he finally realize that this friendship isn't going anywhere but downward spiral.

*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*Breakfast was awkward with a capital 'A'. We didn't talk at all and whenever he tries to make conversation, I'd just answer with a simple nod or 'okay', but other than that I'd just shrug. I was thankful for Ella showing up; at least there were five minutes that wasn't awkward.

Immediately after eating, we decided to go home. Nothing was going to change if we stayed any longer and the silence is just killing me in the inside. I put my headphones on, so at least the music would entertain me on the way home.

Just one more block and this horrid morning would be over. I mentally thank God. Wait a minute- we just past our house.

"We just passed our house." I turned to him, who was still driving ahead.

"Oh, you can actually say something that isn't 'okay'" He said, faking a gasp.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm serious, make a U-turn." I instructed him.

"No way, you're going to talk me whether you like it or not. And we're not going home until we fix things." He said.

"Whatever." I put my earphones back. If he thinks he can just kidnap me whenever he wants, then he's mistaken.

"You know, if you don't cooperate, things will only get worse."

I look at him. "And kidnapping would make it so much it better." I sarcastically said. "You're technically on my good side now."

"At least you're talking to me. I don't care if your comments are sarcastic most of the times, but at least you're talking."

I sighed. "Where are we going?"

"Somewhere fun." He smiled at me, but I just groaned.

*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*

"A park?" I looked around the area. There was no one here at all, but it was beautiful. It wasn't big but it did have a playground. How come no one's here?

"Yeah, it's a private park. My parents own it. This is where I used to have my birthday parties when I was kid." He explained. "Come on." He took my hand and dragged me towards the swings. I miss the warmth of his hands. To be honest, I miss him a lot.

When we reached the swings, he let go of my hand and gestured me to seat. We swing back and forth in silence, but it was comfortable kind of silence.

"I'm sorry." He said.

"I don't want to talk about it." I said, swinging higher.

"We didn't come here to play." He said stopping me.

"I didn't really want to come here at all." I answered back.

"Just let me explain, will you?"

I look at him. His eyes were pleading, but I don't know if I should give him a chance at all, but I just couldn't resist knowing the whole truth. I sighed as I gestured for him to go on.

He put a smiling face on. "I did lie. My cousin is Dylan and I don't know any Chad Miller."

"Yeah, I already know that." I mumbled.

"But what you don't know is why." I looked at him. "I lied because I knew your history with Dylan. He tells me stories about you all the time and how much you hate him so much, so I thought if you knew, you wouldn't give me a chance to be your........ friend." He paused before saying 'friend'.

"Dylan tells stories about me?" That jerk. He probably told him all the pranks he has done to me. I'm going to kill that boy when I see again or I could let Hailey do it.

"Yeah, he says you're a great source of entertainment, but I'm telling you, he doesn't know anything. I haven't contacted him in a few months. I'm not even sure he knows that you're in this part of California."

"I knew it, he finds me amusing." I said like it was a huge discovery.

Tyler laughed. "You're very amusing, so am I forgiven?" He asked. He was doing his version of puppy eyes, but I can totally out-cute him.

"Is that the whole truth?" I asked.

He thought for a while. "Yup." He said popping 'p'.

"Okay, I forgive you, but it will take a while for you to gain my trust back."

He sighed in relief. "Of course, I'll gain it back, I promise." I stretched my arms open wide, signalling him for a hug and he happily obliged. "You don't know how much I miss your hugs." He hugged me tighter.

I laughed. "And your genuine laughs. I miss them all." He added.

I smiled.

"I missed you too." I snuggled him.

Being kidnapped actually has it benefits.
