The Player's Girlfriend

Chapter 11

 ♗ Alison's P.O.V. ♗

"Why are you walking like a zombie?" Zack asked while he closed his locker.

"Three words: Kate, Sugar and Rush." I lifted my three fingers. My whole body ached with all the chasing and running that I did last night.

"That's actually four." Zack corrected me and Liam nudged him.

"We totally forgot to tell you that if Kate eats anything sweet, she gets a little bit hyper." Alex explained.

"A little bit? Her sugar rush lasted for 3 fucking hours, and all she had was a cupcake, a cupcake that came out of nowhere."

Kate and I had a sleepover last night, and it was fun until it was 12 in the morning. She even gave me a cupcake before we decided to sleep. I didn't even know she bought them until they magically appeared on her bag.

What I didn't know is that Kate can have a MASSIVE sugar rush. She was jumping, running, rolling, sprinting and crawling everywhere. She didn't stop until it was 3 in the morning. I was so tired for following her all morning that I had to drink four cups of coffee just to be awake.

"Yeah, she has her ways of hiding her sweets." Alex said, giving me a gentle pat on the back.

I frowned. All I wanted to do was sleep just for 5 more minutes, but I had to get up for school, and I couldn't skip class since it's only the second day of school.

"Where is Kate?" Liam asked.

"She's finding a parking spot. I don't think I could walk anymore, so she dropped me off in front of the entrance."

"What?!" Tyler exclaimed. "You let her drive?! She's the worst driver ever." He started to panic.

"I was mostly asleep on the way to school, but I do remember her almost killing a squirrel." I pointed out.

"She doesn't know how to park a car. She could totally destroy my car." Tyler was pacing back and forth.

"You know what, I'll find her and you stay with your girlfriend." Alex instructed Tyler.

Tyler wrapped his arms around me, and I just rested my head on his shoulders while Liam and Zack patted my head like I was some lost puppy.

"Soft kitty, Warm kitty, Little ball of fur. Happy kitty, Sleepy kitty, Purr Purr Purr" Zack started singing.

I was mistaken. They patted my head like I was some lost kitty.

Tyler was mostly supporting my body weight since I don't think I could stand straight anymore.

"This is not 'Big Bang Theory'." I spat at him. I'm not really this rude, but when I have no sleep, I can become Godzilla.

"Someone's definitely cranky." Zack mumbled.

"Who wouldn't? Kate is a monster when she's hyper. Remember when she ate a whole slice of cake on my birthday?" Liam said, and everyone mumbled an 'Oh yeah.' "And she had four of us, and we still couldn't handle her." Liam pointed out.

"How about we get some coffee for you?" Tyler asked. I was already half-asleep, and just mumbled an 'Uhm'.

"I'll just give you a piggy back ride since I don't think you'll be able to go to the cafeteria without stumbling." Tyler suggested. I didn't mind it since I was able to sleep on his comfortable back. I think I was sleeping for about ten minutes when he woke me up saying that we were already in my homeroom, and that he already got my books for me.

I gave him a hug, and a kiss before letting go, and I happily took my huge cup of coffee, and my books as well. He also kissed me on my temple before leaving the classroom.
