A week had passed, and Yao had been coming to the woods everyday now. Well, almost. He didn't come once because he had caught a cold, and Ivan was worried about if he left him as well. They would explore the woods and Ivan would show Yao many different things. He would always carry him back to the tree, since he claims his body is fragile and easily tired.
"Good afternoon, Ivan," greeted the human to his wolf friend, who had tackled him into a hug. He laughed. "You've been doing that a lot lately, aru,"
"Because I always look forward to seeing you~!" said the large wolf to him. Yao's smile dropped quite a bit.
"Ah, Ivan, we cannot hang out today," he sadly said. "I am going to visit my brother,"
The wolf pouted and got off him. He crossed his arms, sat on the ground, and turned his head away. His ears drooped and his tail wrapped around his leg. He was like a child at times, and Yao loved children. He reached out and pet his head.
"Come on, now, aru. Don't act like that. There's always tomorrow, right?" He tilted his head and smiled a bright smile. Ivan bowed his head a bit, the pout still present on his face.
"I guess," He smiled back at him.
"See you then, aru," said Yao as he walked the rest of the way to his brother's house.

"Kikuuuu!" yelled Yao as he knocked on the door. It was answered by a short, dark-haired man with an expressionless face. Even his eyes looked without emotion!
He bowed in greeting. "Good afternoon, Yao-nii-san. Please come in," he stepped aside to let his older 'brother' enter.
Yao bowed as well. "Good afternoon, and thank you," he walked inside the familiar home. It was rather cozy to live in. "So, how was your week, aru?"
"I was at Feli-kun's house for most of the time, so it was nice," he let his brother sit."What about you?"
"I had lots of fun this week. I made a friend, aru," he beamed. Kiku noticed this.
"Is it the end of the world already?" He asked, sarcastically. Yao narrowed his eyes at him.
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"I would have never expected you to make friends, Yao-nii-san," teasingly, he said. Yao puffed out his cheeks.
"Meanie, aru," he turned his head away. "You don't have many friends either,"
"I made more friends than you, though," he smiled a teasing smile. Yao stuck out his tongue. "I will go make tea," he got up and made his way to the kitchen. "When I'm done, you should tell me about this new friend of yours,"
"Alright, aru,"
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Kiku came out with two cups of tea and handed one to Yao. "Thank you, aru," Kiku took a seat across him.
"Now tell me," he started, "Who is this friend of yours? What does he look like? Where did you meet?" asked he, showering his brother with questions.
"His name is Ivan. He has silvery blonde hair, and a rather prominent nose. He has violet eyes and palish skin. It surprised me from the amount of time he spends outdoors, aru," he looked out the window and thought a bit. He stood up. "He is about this tall," he extended his arm as far as he could and raised himself by standing on his toes. He sat back down. He though a bit. 'Maybe I should leave out the fact that he's a wolf,' And so he did. "We met two weeks ago while I was on my way here,"
"So you talked to someone in the middle of the woods, had no idea who he was and decided to make friends with him?" He sipped his tea. "You always told us never to talk to strangers,"
"I ran from him when I saw him, aru!" He held out the dragon pendant on his necklace. "He saw that I dropped it and returned it to me. He followed me for a bit the next week, and he was hungry and he was like a homeless child and--"
"You've always had that weak spot for children, haven't you?"
"Shut up, aru,"
Kiku shook his head, got up and took the two empty cups. Yao didn't even notice his was empty already.
"Well, I'm happy that you made a friend, I guess," said Kiku, coming back from the kitchen.
"Yeah, aru,"
"Now, may you please help me with my garden? I want to grow herbs and I don't know what to do and what they need," he asked, changing the subject.
"Ah, yes, of course," so he got up and they both went to the garden.

They were at the door of Kiku's house, for his brother was taking his leave. "Arigato gozaimasu," Kiku bowed, thanking him for the help with his herbs.
"You are very welcome," he bowed back. "I must be off then. Goodbye!" And he was off.
Walking down the all-too-familiar path, he looked at the tree where he and Ivan meet at. He saw a long piece of what seemed like hair hang down from the tree. "What is that, aru?" As he came closer, he seemed like he recognized it from somewhere. When he was finally underneath the tree, he saw that there was someone lying on the thick branch that he usually sits on. It was Ivan! The piece of 'hair' was his furry tail hanging down from the tree. "Ivan?" No answer. He backed up a bit. "He's asleep, aru," he giggled. "I didn't know wolves sleep in trees as well," he thought his friend looked so peaceful. His tail swished a bit and went back to hanging still. "Sweet dreams, Ivan," and with that, he head home.

I'm sorry, I rushed this *cries*
There was this spelling elimination for this convention my school is in at February 2016. My bestie and I are the two finalists and only one of us can compete. She wants me to win because she doesn't want to compete against other schools because we don't know HALF the words they want us to spell. I mean, what's next? Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis? OMG I SPELLED THAT WITHOUT LOOKING IT UP-- (yes, that word is in the dictionary)
Ahem, anyways~! As you can see, I'm not doing their accents. Like I didn't do Japan's "l's are r's" (even though I find it adorable). It's hard to understand for some people, so I didn't do it.
ONWARD TO THE NEXT PAGE~!
