"Big brother!!" Ivan was startled. The voice sent shivers down his spine. It was his little sister, Natalia. She had a huge obsession over him. She wanted to 'marry' him. He had to admit she was very pretty, but she was really mean and scary. When he saw her running toward her, he hid behind the tree. It didn't help at all, but he was too scared to think.

Then, he heard some kind of bouncing noise. That meant his big sister, Irunya, was here. "Little brother!" She's really kind, but it's pretty awkward to be around her since she has big.... You should know. Natalia hugged him as if she WANTED to kill him with it. Irunya came up behind her. "Little brother~! It's been so long since we've seen you! How are you doing?" Ivan pushes Natalia off so he could breath.

"I am doing good, big sister," He smiles. "I met a human last week~!" Irunya gasped. She hasn't seen a human in forever. But then she realized something.

"...... Met....?" Upon hearing this, Natalia threw herself off him and stared at him horrifyingly. Ivan realized what he had said and mentally slapped himself.

"I mean saw," He 'corrected'. "I saw a human," Irunya looked at him with suspicious eyes, but shrugged it off.

"Did you get them?" She asked curiously.

"No, I did not," answered Ivan truthfully. She responded with an 'okay'. He wasn't planning to tell much, anyway.

"We really miss you," said Irunya, changing the subject. "Right, Natalia?" Natalia came closer to Ivan.

"Marry me, marry me, marry me," creepily, she said. Ivan whimpered and scooted back.

"Ah, we cannot be here for long," said Irunya, pulling Natalia back. "We have to go now. Goodbye, little brother~!" After she said that, she went off with Natalia. Ivan could hear Natalia's protests and felt bad for her, but he was more relieved she was gone. Once again he felt lonely. He didn't like being alone. He, then, drifted off into a deep sleep.

He awoke to something poking his face. He slowly opened his eyes and saw honey golden browns staring into his violets. "What the..."

"Oh! You're awake," said the familiar voice. When his mind started working he finally recognized who it was.

"Yao? Why are you here?" Yao smiled.

"Well, I had nothing better to do today, so I came here,"

"Are you going to visit your brother?"

"No. I wanted to come and visit you," Ivan was confused.

"Why would a human want to see a wolf?" He wondered aloud.

"Because, now, I kind of see you as a little child," explained Yao.

Yao reached into his bag and pulled out two sticks and a small box. Ivan could smell food in the box, but thought about what were the sticks for. Yao opened the box and used the sticks to pick them up as Ivan watched in wonder.

"These are called chopsticks," he explained. "This is what I use when I eat,"

"You don't use your hands?" he asked. Yao shook his head and held the food to Ivan's mouth. He opened his mouth and Yao fed him until the box was empty, "Why didn't you eat?"

"I ate at home," he said, putting the empty box and chopsticks back into the bag.

Silence.

"Umm," said Yao, breaking the silence. "What do you usually do here?" Ivan looked at the sky and thought for a bit.

"..... I go hunting sometimes, do you?"

"I go grocery shopping, does that count?"

"What is grocery shopping?"

Yao shook his head, as if to say 'never mind'. More silence.

"Oh, do you have flowers here?" asked he. Ivan nodded. "Can you take me to them?"

"Alright," The wolf got up and helped up the petit human next to him and led him to the flowers.

They weren't that far, but Yao felt uneasy. I mean, if you let a wolf lead you to somewhere you don't know, wouldn't you be at least a bit afraid? But then he saw them. The wild flowers. Their colours were very welcoming, so friendly, and oh-so beautiful.

Yao walked about, careful not to step on any of the small flowers. The trees blocked direct sunlight so they were in a rather shady place, but it made it look magical, for the place looked as if it was glowing. He wondered how it was here at night. Would it be just as magically beautiful as this? Or would it look like some horror in the woods, as if you were chased by a tall, slender monster while you found notes hanging in random places?

Ivan watched Yao taking everything in. He smiled. Yao looked like a small, curious child who was taken to Wonderland. The human started picking the flowers and putting them in his sleeves. Why are those things so big? After that, Yao ran back to Ivan, beaming with happiness. He had a few flowers scattered on his hair, he doesn't seem to know, though. He looked like he just rolled in them.

"Are you ready to go?" asked Ivan in amusement.

Yao nodded. Ivan got up and left the place with Yao following.

"Do you like flowers?" asked Yao.

"I like big flowers better," he answered.

"Well, I have a garden. Next time, I'll bring you a big flower,"

"Next time?" Ivan was shocked. "There is a next time?"

The human smiled up at him. "Is that okay with you?"

He quickly nodded. "When will 'next time' be?"

"Hmm, how about tomorrow?"

"That sounds good," Ivan smiled.

Yao looked up at the sky. "The sun is going down already. Time goes by fast, huh?"

"Yeah," muttered Ivan.

"I guess I should be going now," he said with a slightly disappointed look upon his face. "See you tomorrow, Ivan," he replaced that look with a smile and ran off waving.

"Bye bye~!" Ivan waved back. He smiled. He didn't feel lonely this time, because he thought that maybe...

Maybe he won't be alone anymore.
