All of the gladers were in the council in a matter of 5 minutes. "Today was a pretty heavy day for all of us," said Gally," First Ben gets stung in broad daylight, and then our greenie over here, has brought it onto himself to go into the maze." "With the Grievers." Just thinking about last night gave him awful feelings. "And you've killed one," said Gally, looking at Thomas. "Who knows what this could mean for us." "He has to be punished." After that everyone started "booing" Gally. Newt spoke up and said," Minho you were with Thomas what do you think?" Minho replied," Ever since he got here things changed." "Look, I don't know if he's brave or stupid." "Whatever it is we need more of." "I say we make him a runner." As if on cue everyone started cheering. "If you want to put him back in there that's fine by me!", said Gally, trying to talk over the crowd. "But if there's one thing I know about the maze its that you do not-" He got cut off by the sound of an alarm. Everyone started to run outside. "It's the box, why is it coming up so early?", asked Chuck. They all went over to the box, and Newt hopped in. "It's a girl," said Newt. They noticed there were no supplies. "What's she holding?", said Gally. "A note," said Newt," And it says "she's the last one Ever." "Well what the heck does that mean?" And suddenly she woke up. "(GASP)" went the girl. "Thomas" she said, and went back to sleep.
