There was an awkward, terrifying silence in the safe house at the glade. "Grievers are attacking the glade", thought Thomas, "How could this be happening?" Before he could think any further, he heard a loud crack, and the whole hut shook. The Griever was on top of the safe house. A couple of cracks later the roof of the house collapsed onto the gladers. A round of coughs came over the gladers. "Is everyone okay?", yelled Thomas, making sure everyone heard him. "Yeah," replied Chuck. "Chuck look out!", yelled a glader, and Chuck was being dangled by a Griever's tail in the air.
