"Alby!", shouted Thomas, he couldn't believe what was happening. Did Alby really just go? Thomas stormed out of the door, followed by a round of "Thomas no!", from the other gladers. Thomas noticed that all of the Grievers were gone. "Where's everybody else?", asked Chuck. Thomas could see a faded silhouette in the smoke coming for them. It was Gally and 3 other gladers. As Gally got closer at an alarming rate, Thomas said, "Gally," no a hurt tone. Before he could say anything else, Gally swung his fist, and connected it with Thomas's face. Thomas fell back in pain. The gladers were holding Gally back as he yelled, "This is all you Thomas huh? Look around you!" It was Thomas's fault, he killed that Griever and brought the rest into the glade. He was sent here for a reason. He needed to remember, he took the needle from the Griever's tail which Chuck was holding, and said to Teresa, "I need to remember," with one last "No!" Coming from the gladers, he shoved the needle into his leg and collapsed to the floor. The gladers ran around him, abandoning Gally as he stood in shock.
And then, the world turned black.
