Thomas was awoken by some one he never met before, bright and early in the morning. " Rise and shine greenie," he said," work time." "My name's Minho by the way." "Hi i'm...... Well I don't know," said Thomas. "I know," said Minho," It will come back soon, now come on job time." Thomas followed Minho over to a group of boys. "We call them the builders," said Minho,"They build stuff around here." "Oh and each job has a keeper they are in charge of what the group does and doesn't do." "This is Gally he's the keeper of the builders." "Hey greenie, let's get working," said Gally. Thomas wasn't bad at being a builder, he was focused and determined to do things right( when Gally wasn't mad at him).
Next were the med-jacks, he wasn't the best at tying bandages, which he wasn't worried about because he really doesn't want to be a med-jack(though Clint and Jeff were nice). Thomas had 4 jobs left when Minho said "Hey gotta run good luck, HEY NEWT CAN YOU TAKE OVER?" Newt came over and gave him the "ok". Then Minho ran into the maze with Alby. "Why are they going into the maze?", said Thomas. "They're runners," Newt explained,"They go in they maze memorize the paths and try to find a way out." "How long have you been looking?", said Thomas. "3 years," said Newt. "Come on, you have jobs to try."
