Finale

(Y/n) looks at Enji's prosthetic arm and rubs it gently.
"It was hard to get used to but I think I'm managing ok." Enji smiles gently.
Katherine waves her hands. "Daddy!"
"Hi baby girl." He leans down and kisses her head.
The mother hands over the toddler. "I'm glad you're doing ok Enji."
"Are you doing ok?"
"Mhm." She mumbles and rubs her arm.
"I know it's not ok but I want you to be ok."
(Y/n) smiles and leans up on her tip toes to kiss him.
Enji bends down to kiss back.

Katherine whines and pushes them apart.
Enji laughs and kisses all over her face.
His rough scaring makes her whine but she feels it with her hands.
(Y/n) frowns and rubs her back. "Daddy has owies but he's ok."
"Daddy's owies?"
"Yeah. Daddy beat the bad guys but they were mean and hurt him."
Katherine nuzzles her face in his neck, gripping his shirt.
The retired hero groans slightly and gets her to loosen her grip on his chest hair.
His wife laughs gently.

"Do you have some time to play with us? The backyard is finally remodeled."
Enji holds her waist. "Yes. I have off today and tomorrow. Perhaps we could have some time to ourselves when we put Katherine to sleep?"
(Y/n) blushes but nods. "I'd like that."
The redhead throws his daughter up and she laughs loudly.
(Y/n) smiles as she watches. "Do you wanna go outside and play baby girl?"
"Outside! Outside!" She cheers and claps her hands.
The family goes to the backyard and spends a few hours playing.

As they come back in the front door opens.
Rei walks in and smiles. "Hello."
"Hi Rei. I'm glad you could make it." Her ex husband greets.
"The other two will be here soon."
(Y/n) frowns but puts on a smile and nods.
"Natsuo has expressed his desire to be cut out of the family and I've respected his wishes. I miss him but I know he'll thrive." Enji mumbles and looks away.
(Y/n) nods in understanding.
Rei hugs her friend and pinches the child's cheeks.
The front door opens again and the two children walk in.
"I brought the #2 hero with me." Fuyumi greets and laughs.
Shoto raises his hand. "Hello."
"Welcome you two." (Y/n) calls and smiles happily.

"Ooh you're finally back. How was being abroad?" The ex teacher scurries over and links her arm through her step mother's.
Shoto walks over and rubs his mother's back. "How are you?"
"I'm good. Congratulations on your ranking."
Enji walks over and smiles gently, holding out his free hand to his son.
Instead the boy takes his half sister and bounces her on his hip.
Katherine laughs loudly, holding onto him and burying her face in his shoulder.
"Thanks dad." Shoto finally mumbles.
Tears well in the old man's eyes but he sniffles and holds them back.
(Y/n) watches and smiles gently.

The family cooks dinner together and sits down to eat.
They make conversation about everything.
Japan's progress in recovering, what (Y/n) got up to in the UK and what everyone else has been up to in their personal lives.
Obviously the conversation switches to the two men who weren't there but thankfully (Y/n) turned the mood around.
She invited them to celebrate Katherine's birthday.
Shoto was a bit shocked when (Y/n) asked if any of his classmates would want to join. He was even more surprised when he got a bunch of positive responses in the class group chat.
Mineta asked when (Y/n)'s birthday was and Mina kicked him out.
Only for Iida to put him back in.

(Y/n) leans back on her hands and looks at the family around her.
Enji glances down at his wife before putting his hand on hers, leaning down and kissing her head.
The (h/c) leans against his arm and relaxes.
Enji rubs her back and holds her close.
Rei and Shoto bring over dessert.
Katherine did her best to not make a mess but eventually gave up.
Enji laughs and shakes his head. "Oh come now. You were doing so good."
The toddler looks up at her father and gurgles. "Daddy!" She holds up her hands, covered in the dessert.
"Oh no. You're not touching me. Now I gotta give you a bath. And deep clean your high chair."
"I can clean her chair if you wanna give her a bath." (Y/n) offers and stands up.
"Geez dad, when was the last time you actually bathed a baby?" Fuyumi jokes and chuckles quietly.
"Has he ever done it?" Shoto genuinely asks.
"No. I haven't." Enji confesses but smiles slightly.
"I'll show him how." Rei assures and pats the tall man's arm.

Once everything is cleaned up the Todoroki's bid their farewells and go their separate ways.
(Y/n) helps Katherine brush her teeth and Enji helps her into pjs.
The father reads his daughter a bedtime story but doesn't get very far before the toddler falls asleep. He kisses Katherine's head before lifting the blanket and handing her her stuffy.
(Y/n) watches silently from the doorway before going to the room she and Enji share and changes into pjs.
Enji joins her soon and lays down with her. He holds her close and kisses her forehead.
(Y/n) curls into him and closes her eyes.
"I'm glad you're finally back. I kept finding myself longing for the day you'd return and I could hold you again. I never used to feel like that."
"Even through the pain and heartbreak, deep down, I wanted you there. I wanted you to be the one comforting me, holding me and telling me everything would be ok."
"Well I'm here now. And everything is gonna be ok. We're gonna be ok."
(Y/n) smiles and inhales his cologne, burying her face in his shoulder. "Yeah. We're gonna be a big, happy family."
