The next morning arrived as early as possible for everyone in the house.
Finally, Ravindran Narayan, Shushila, and their daughter Sahiti were ready to leave for the airport. Manik made sure they received some goodies, special sweets, and other gifts before they left. Nandini, considering Sahiti and Shushila very special people, personally gifted them both sarees as return wedding gifts. For Ravindran Narayan, she had arranged a traditional set of dhotis.
Following all the customs and traditions, the family felt extremely happy with the love and affection they had received from Manik's in-laws.
Before leaving, Shushila warmly invited Nandini and Manik, along with all the team members and their wives, to their home for dinner whenever they found the time. She then looked at Ravindran Narayan and asked him to spare them for a whole day so that everyone could spend a fun-filled day together at their home, filled with laughter, happiness, and memories.
Everyone happily agreed.
The send-off happened in the early hours of the morning, and almost everyone stayed awake to see them off. Once Ravindran Narayan, Shushila, and Sahiti finally left for the airport, the exhausted family slowly made their way back to their rooms.
That morning , everyone slept in different rooms all the girls together in one room and all the boys in another. They were so exhausted from the wedding celebrations and the previous few days that nobody even realized when they had fallen asleep.
It was almost evening when, one by one, everyone finally began waking up.
They freshened up and slowly came downstairs.
Everyone except Nandini.
The bride was completely exhausted, both mentally and physically. She had spent the previous days waiting for her husband, carrying the emotional strain of everything that had happened, followed by the wedding ceremonies and celebrations. Her body and mind had finally reached their limit, and she was sleeping deeply.
Manik, who had woken up on time, got ready and came downstairs. By then, he received the news that Rishabh was going to travel directly from Chennai to America the following night. Alia and Dhruv, along with their son, were also leaving the next morning.
There was barely one night between them.
Manik immediately looked around for charms.
"Charms, where's your Bhabhi Nandini?"
Charms looked at him with a mischievous smile.
"She's still sleeping. I didn't have the heart to wake her up. If you want, you can go and check on her. She's your wife... all yours."
Manik smiled at her and made his way upstairs.
By then, everyone who had woken up had gathered in the hall and dining area. Some were having coffee, some were drinking tea, others were having snacks, while a few were discussing which wedding rituals were still left to be completed.
