One by one, people began packing their bags and preparing to leave the marriage house.
All the ceremonies had finally come to an end.
Anwar, Sasha, Mitali, Tanuja, and Ritu were among the first to bid everyone goodbye after Ravindra narayan and family ..
The five of them would meet Manik again in Mumbai, while a few others would be travelling to Hyderabad for a personal meeting with Ravindran Narayan.
The previous day, before all of this had happened, Ravindran Narayan had held a secret meeting with all ten members of the office team before leaving for Hyderabad with his wife and daughter.
A lot had been discussed during that meeting. Several things had been exchanged, several truths had come to light, and even Manik had been scolded for going alone.
Anwar and Sasha had reported everything they knew. Mitali, the team's cyber expert, had also discovered something suspicious happening in Mumbai.
That was why Mumbai had now become their next important destination. They needed to check everything personally and make sure everything was in place.
And finally, it was time for Rishabh and Aliya to leave.
Nandini was emotionally drained.
Whenever her siblings came to India, it felt like a festival for her. They were her blood relations the people she had been born with, grown up with, and shared her entire childhood with.
After her mother, she had always been deeply emotionally connected to her siblings.
But she also knew that they were supposed to return to their lives in America and London.
Every year, she waited for that one precious moment when she could meet them again.
So naturally, she was an emotional mess.But today, she wasn't crying.Not yet.Because this time, she knew she wasn't alone anymore.She had Manik.
She stood beside him as the luggage was loaded into the trunks of Rishabh's car. Alia and Dhruv were leaving with him as well because they had some work in Chennai and needed to buy a few things before catching their flight. They also wanted to reach the airport three or four hours early.
So all of them were leaving together. They are meeting everyone in the family hugging and bidding bye , taking blessings from elders and all ....
Finally Alia walked straight toward Nandini and Manik and stopped in front of them.
She looked at her sister for a few seconds before smiling sadly.
"I know Nandu very well. This is probably the first time she isn't crying when I'm leaving."
Nandini immediately looked down.
Alia gave a small laugh.
"She always cries. And I understand why. Even I cry when I'm sitting on the flight, leaving my sibling behind and going back to another country where I can only see her through video calls."
