Chapter 5-The Betrayal

LOUIS' POV

As I walk out of my car, I see Eleanor standing in front of the sunlight and she looked so beautiful to me. I finally decided that I was going to ask her out perhaps today. We get along really well and our personalities are similar yet different. Whenever I'm around her, I just feel like my world is complete. It's hard to describe the feeling I get when I'm with her, but it feels so right.

"Hey Eleanor, how are you?" I asked stupidly. God, what kind of conversation starter is that??

"Hi Louis, I'm great thanks to you. Thank you so much for saving me," she replied while giving me a hug.

"No problem, I'd always save you," I answered smiling. Hoping she would get some sort of hint that I liked her.

She didn't reply, instead she just smiled at me. Her smile lit up my world like nobody else (see what i did there :P).

As the day went on, Eleanor and I got partnered up for many activities and we got to know each other even more. I began to notice more and more how genuine of a person she was and realized she had a wicked sense of humour, which made me like her even more. I finally got the courage to ask her out, but not exactly on a date, just to hang out.

"Um Eleanor? Can I ask you a question," I asked nervously.

"Sure, what's up?" she replied.

"Do you want to maybe, get pizza after or something?" I quickly said. My cheeks were already beginning to redden. 

"Yeah, of course I would! How about after camp today?" she replied eagerly.

"That would be great!" I'm so glad she said yes, perhaps there's a chance she likes me back!

ELEANOR'S POV

O.M.G. I can't believe it!! He finally asked me to do something with him! I'm so relieved because now I know there's a chance he might like me, hopefully as more than a friend. There's only about half an hour left so that means it's gonna happen soon! I hope I don't embarrass myself...

LOUIS' POV

After camp ended, I went to the parking lot to find El but I couldn't find her anywhere. I decided to look around more and search the more hidden parts of the parking lot when suddenly, I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was Catherine. 

"What do you want?" I asked, not bothering to be polite.

"I want you," she replied seductively.

Before I could stop her, she crashed her lips into mine. I didn't even have time to react to what was happening when all of a sudden, I heard a gasp. 

"Louis...?" Oh crap, it was Eleanor.

"Oh my god, El, please, let me explain, it's not what it looks like," I desperately tried to explain.

"No, I've seen enough, just leave me alone," she retorted, clearly hurt by what she saw.

Oh god what have I done? I just lost a perfect evening with the girl that I've been head over heels for the entire time I've been here. And I think she made it pretty clear that she had feelings for me as well.

"So, now that she's gone..." Catherine continued to try and kiss me.

"Can you stop ruining things for me and go away?" I spat while walking away. I couldn't deal with her right now.

How could such a perfect day turn out so cruddy?
