ELEANOR'S POV

"Mom, Dad? Can I talk to you?" I say timidly.

"Yes honey, what is it?" my mom replied.

"I don't want to date Thomas, he's just not for me." I confess.

"Why not? We think you two would be perfect for each other." my mom pushed.

"What you think may not be the truth! Maybe I fell in love with just another average boy. He may not seem like much, except ruggedly handsome, to many, but to me, he means the world."

My parents just stared at me with blank eyes, probably shocked at my passionate little speech about Louis but then I realized, I used the word "love" to describe how I feel about him.

"I understand where you're coming from and I will not force you to date Thomas because I respect your judgement when it comes to boys," my mom started. "But if he breaks your heart, I break his neck," my dad chimed in.

I laughed at his oh-so-dad joke and thanked them again for understanding. Maybe I judged them too quickly.

I ran upstairs and immediately dialled Louis' number.

"So my parents are actually okay with this," I say, trying to contain my excitement.

"Told you it would be fine," I could almost picture him grinning on the other end of the phone. "That means I can come over right?"

"Yes! Come over right now!" I exclaimed.

"Sure, I'll be over there in about 10 minutes."

I introduced Louis to my parents and they were pretty chill (thank god) and we decided to go up to my room to avoid my parents possibly embarrassing themselves and I.

I had been really stressed and worried a few minutes ago so I motioned Louis to come lie down next to me on my comfortable bed. He started playing with my hair and explaining to me what he was doing before coming here.

"I was nervous as well, I wouldn't know what to do if they forbade you to date me." he explained.

"Yeah same here, I think I would die," I exaggerate.

Though this entire time I wasn't really thinking about that, I was thinking more about what I had said. I loved him. It was so soon in the relationship, I was surprised the thought even crossed my mind but I was more sure of it than anything, I truly felt it. It's hard though, I feel like he would get weirded out if he knew how I felt. But I couldn't help it.

"L-Louis?" I stammered nervously.

"Yes love?"

I swallowed a lump in my throat. Please let this not turn out horrible, it just seems so right.

"I-I-I love you," I blurted out. My cheeks immediately flaring up, maybe this was a mistake!

Louis smiled and pulled me in closer and whispered in my ear, "I love you too."

A huge smile spread across my face as I leaned down to kiss him.

Just before our lips met I looked into his ocean blue eyes and took it all in. I love him.
