Chapter 12-Song of Choice

ELEANOR'S POV

I'm at Crystal's to practice the song for the talent show with Louis. Thank god Crystal isn't home, I don't think I have the courage to sing in front of other people yet. Singing in front of Louis, Harry, Niall, and Liam already made me embarrassed to the point where my face could be replaced by a tomato. We're doing "A Whole New World" from Aladdin because we are cheesy people and who doesn't love a little Disney? Louis will play the piano while singing, and I'll just sing because I can't play any instruments. Louis playing the piano is the best part about the whole song because he looks so hot while playing the piano. And I can't believe I just said that...

"Should we start rehearsing now?" Louis asked.

"Huh? Oh yeah" I snapped out of my daze. "Are you sure you're okay with this song? I know it's not really something a teenage boy might like"

"Yeah, I think it's perfect," Louis smiled.

"I agree, the song really speaks to me because you showed me that there is such a thing as a healthy relationship," I replied sweetly.

Louis smiled and kissed me tenderly, the warmth of his lips spreading across mine as I deepened into the kiss. After a few seconds he pulled away, leaving me colder inside.

"Shall we start?" he asked. 

"Yeah, I think I know all the words"

Louis played the intro and started to sing Aladdin's part. His voice was so mesmerizing that I almost missed my solo but I caught on. 

After about an hour of rehearsing, I was a little more confident with our solo. My throat was also on fire from the amount of singing I was doing since I wasn't used to singing this much at a time. We decided to take a break, perfect, because I was dying to hear Louis play piano by himself.

He plays a beautiful piece that makes me feel like snuggling with him and give him a ton of kisses, which is what I plan doing.

I bring him over to the couch and snuggle into his warm embrace as he wraps his arms around me. He smiles down at me as I look up to him and he inches his face closer to mine. Our lips touch and butterflies are released in my stomach. It's amazing how he makes me feel just with a simple kiss. 

Without breaking the kiss, I adjust myself so that I'm laying on top of him and deepen the kiss. 

Out of nowhere, Crystal walks in and says, "I sit on that couch too, you know."

"Ugh Crystal! Why do you always have to barge in at the wrong time," Louis groans.

"What, you mean when you're having a make-out session?" she teases.

"Out," he points to the stairs that lead to her room.

Crystal smirks at my red face and unwillingly walks up the stairs.

"Sorry about that," he says. "Anyway, where were we?"

I smile and once again snuggle into his arms.

"You know, next time we should just go to your house. It'll be nice to get away from Crystal for once."

"Haha, yeah..." I laugh nervously.

LOUIS' POV

I suggested to El that we should go to her house next time but she didn't reply with an eager yes/no answer. I was suspicious as to why but I decided to let it go. I mean it's probably nothing right?

ELEANOR'S POV

I feel bad for lying to Louis, but the truth is, I haven't exactly told Louis about how my parents don't know about our relationship. So I'm basically lying to two groups people at the same time, Louis and my parents. In my defence, I do have a good reason. My parents still want me to date their family friend's son, Thomas. I have no feelings for Thomas, but my parents love him and I'm scared what they'll say if I tell them about Louis. What if they don't accept him and force me to break up with him? I don't know what I'd do if I wasn't able to talk or see Louis.
