I was sitting on a cloud, my hair whipping and swirling behind me, the sun warm on my face. I felt calm and happy. And light, oh so light. Suddenly, there was a loud BANG, and my fluffy cloud disappeared, revealing a sandy plain, with not a soul in sight. I looked down at my hands, and found that I was holding a microphone. How does this make ANY sense? I thought to myself. I brought the mike close to my face and let out a small note. I had always loved to sing, maybe that's why I was imagining myself in such an odd and random scenario. The next thing I knew, I was in my bedroom, singing "Only Hope" by Mandy Moore. But for some reason, I was watching MYSELF. I was younger here, maybe 15. I glanced around the room and gasped, but younger me didn't notice me at all. My other best friend, Cammie, had just walked into the room. At the sight of her, I began to cry. It was too much...

"Hey Sasha!" Cammie said as she strolled comfortably into the room, her long blond hair swaying and she walked. I stiffled a sob. Younger me smiled excitedly and ran to give her friend-my old friend-a hug. "Cam! Oh my gosh, I just mastered Halo. The notes sound perfect! Want to try singing it together?" Cammie smiled, and straightened her back, showing that she was ready to belt her heart out. " You know it! Start!" And with that, they started to sing...

"Remember those walls we built, well baby they're tumbling down..." I smiled through my tears. After all the years since Cammie's accident, I had forgotten just how beautiful her voice was. And just how much I missed singing with her. All I wanted was to sing with her, just one more time. So, I joined in.

"I found a way to let you in, but I never really had a doubt, standing in the light of your halo-o, I've got my angel now..."

And then, the room started to melt, my wonderful memory falling apart. I heard a voice... an unfamiliar voice, but I felt as if I had heard it before...

"Her voice is so beautiful! Oh, shes waking up, I'll call you back." A phone beeped as the mystery person shut off his phone. "Sweetheart, are you okay? Can you hear me? Please say something!" the voice shook. I was suddenly in a black hole, dark and scary. Then, light. A bright, burning light, but I soon realized it was because I had opened my eyes. I groaned with the pain in my throbbing head, and I tried to put my arm over my eyes to block the harsh light. I couldn't move. I started frantically looking around, pain momentarily forgotten. My vision cleared. I was hooked up to multiple machines and tubes, and my arm and leg were in casts. I blinked as something in the room moved closer to my bedside.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry..." the person whispered. I gaped as I realized who was standing there. His light brown hair swooped in a perfect arc against his slightly tanned forehead, his dark eyes shining and his full red lips slightly parted. It was... Justin Bieber.
