Hey Wattpadders!

I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while. But I'm back, ready to write all about Justin, Sasha, and Acadia's (pardon my french) b*tchiness. Thanks to everyone for helping me reach my goal! It went even farther than that, I got way more than I asked for. So THANK YOU!

Justin tensed and jumped up, equally shocked by the new presence in the room. I looked towards the door.

"Mom!" Justin exclaimed, bursting with joy. Pattie Mallette grinned at her teenage son, but not before giving him a mocking warning glare for what she just witnessed us doing.

"Hey, baby," she hugged him, which seemed difficult. Justin was more than a foot taller than her. I smiled at the odd sight. "Is everything ok here?"

"Define 'ok'," Justin muttered.

"What happened?" Pattie asked, putting her hand on his shoulder as he sat back down on the bed, looking down at his feet. After Justin asked me if it was ok for him to tell his mother everything, he began retelling every event that had happened over the last couple of days. About the accident, the glass. His voice faltered while telling her about Acadia, and a lone tear slipped from his eye.

Pattie stood motionless, a look of horror plastered across her pretty features during nearly the entire story. She blanched immensely when her son explained what Acadia/Serena had supposedly done to him. "I'm not sure if she's telling the truth," Justin said. "She seemed kind of insane, but her story matched what happened on vacation."

"I'll call Scooter later," Pattie replied, dazed and shocked, "Straighten it out."

Then he spoke about my mother.

Pattie's eyes watered at that, and I felt a whole new wave of tears overfill me.

"Oh sweetie," Pattie came over and hugged me. "I'm so sorry." I hugged her back, letting the tears fall. It felt so good to have a mother hug me again. Though I was desperately wishing it was my own. I felt myself cry harder while Pattie rubbed my back comfortingly, rocking back and forth. The bed leaned slightly as Justin sat next to me, motioning for his mother to let go of me. His arms slipped around me, holding me against his chest like a baby.

I cried until I was nearly asleep. Justin and Pattie murmured comforting phrases the whole time, Justin combing his fingers through my hair and kissing me forehead every so often. When they thought I was asleep, they began to talk, whispering over me.

"So," I heard Pattie start. I kept my eyes shut, even though I knew eavesdropping was wrong. "What are we going to do?"

"I don- wait. You said we. You're going to help us?" Justin whispered excitedly. Every time he spoke, I felt his voice vibrate in his chest and the quiet da dum of his heart.

"Of course!" Pattie said, "I wouldn't let her stay alone. She seems like a sweet girl, and besides, you two are obviously inseparable." I felt Justin nod enthusiastically. I willed myself not to smile.

"And," Pattie continued, a smile in her voice, "I think it would be nice to take her in."

"Thank you mom! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" his voice was filled with joy. "If I wasn't holding Sasha right now, I would hug you and kiss you 'til you couldn't breathe!" He was bouncing with excitement, shaking me. I resisted the urge to laugh. He sounded like such a little kid!

"Woah there!" Pattie cut in, stopping the bouncing Bieber. "Don't you think that it's maybe a little too early for you two to be living together?"

"I don't think so," he said suggestively. I could practically see his eyebrows wiggling

I heard a sharp clap and a loud "Ow!"
