Chapter Ten: Skateboarders & Breakup Borders.
~The Next Morning~

It was now Saturday morning, and my alarm went off blaring at 8:50 a.m.

Why 8:50 a.m., you may ask? Well, on every Saturday morning, Mom would make these absolutely delicious pancakes that had cinnamon sauce topping. It was like a mixture of pancakes and cinnamon rolls, and every single child in this family loved them. Including myself.

You see, Mom would always get up around eight and make the pancakes. Usually, they'd be done by nine. And with my siblings being total savages who care about nothing nothing but themselves, it is important to get down there fast and prepared to attack.

I got out of bed quickly, taking my hair out of its ponytail and putting on leggings. I opened my door and ran down the stairs, heading straight for the kitchen.

But, I was too late. There at the counter sat Sean and Parker, gobbling up all the pancakes in my sight range. I groaned and grabbed a pillow from the living room, then came up behind them and smacked the both in the heads with them.

"Hey!" They yelled in unison, Sean glaring at me while Parker scowled, both having pancakes stuffed into their mouths.

"Wow, I have an attractive family." I said sarcastically, hitting Parker in the shoulder before sitting down.

Mom chuckled lightly, putting a plate of delicious looking pancakes in front of me, "Don't taunt your brothers."

Parker and Sean rolled their eyes.

     I ignored them, "Where's Nessa?"

And practically on cue, Vanessa came prancing down the stairs, fully dressed in black jeans and a grey sweater with a golden bow on it. Her hair was curled and two pieces were pulled back together.

"Good morning, my beautiful family!" She chirped in a bright voice, hopping down on the chair next to me. She began eating her pancakes.

"What are you so happy about?" I asked her, a gloomy and angry look on my face.

Since my sister and I have such a love hate relationship, when one of us is happy, then other is angry. It's just kinda how we are.

"RINESSA!!!" Parker suddenly shouted, making everyone, including me, jump.

We all gave him weird looks, me mentally slapping him.

"Oh, um, sorry... I gotta go, um, call Rocky..." He stood up awkwardly, heading into the other room with his phone. Once he was farther away, you could hear him squeal, "Rocky!! You're never going to believe this!!"

I rolled my eyes, finishing off the last bite of my pancakes. I thanked Mom and rinsed off my dish, then went back upstairs to my bedroom.

When I arrived, I was notified with a two minute old text message from my phone. I picked it up off my bed, then checked to see what it was.

"Wanna hang out today?" The text read, it being from the one and only, Ross Lynch.

I couldn't help but let a small smile appear on my lips.

I texted back, "Sure, got anything in mind?"

"I wanna take you to take meet my friends, I want them to know you're my girl." He texted back, after about a minute.

     Immediately, I blushed deep.

I, Laura Marano, was Ross Lynch's girl. Or at least, that's what he was implying.
