End of Heartache, the Continued Case of.... (Sebastian x Reader)

Chapter 6

Readers PoV:

I was in the shower letting the hot water work its magic when I heard Julies voice again. Smiling at how bubbly her voice seemed, I was grateful she was here for Sebastian. He needed someone like her in his life. Climbing out of the shower I walked into Sebastian bedroom. There I was greeted to the face of a smiling Julie.

"I brought you some clothes. Nothing amazing just some jegging's and jumpers, we'll have to go shopping later for everything else." She said smiling warmly at me.

"Thank you. For everything" I said taking her hand in mine

"Its just some clothes no biggie" She shrugged.

"Its more than that. Thank you for being there for Sebastian when I wasn't"

"Like I said no biggie. Just get changed, I'm going to order some French pastries for breakfast. You'll love them" She said leaving me alone.

I quickly got changed into her trouser things and tried to pull one of her jumpers on but as she was a petite women, it didn't fit over my chest. Instead I rummaged through Sebastian's draws and pulled on one of his jumpers. Tucking my hair behind my ear I went back into the other room. There i found Julie and Sebastian arguing over which bakery to buy breakfast from.  I just stood and watched not wanting to include myself in their world without permission. I didn't deserve to be included if i wasn't wanted. 

Fortunately Sebastian patted the space next to him on the sofa and I huddled into that spot. Cuddling into Sebastian arm i just listened as the argument continued.  Sooner than later though it had ended and breakfast was on its way. We all sat down together and enjoyed delicious foods i had never experienced before, Like iced buns, pain au chocolate. Each pastry had a unique and mouth watering taste. It was indescribable. 

"Kitten. You said you had something to tell me? What did you learn while you were away?" Sebastian suddenly asked.

"I leant about the past, in order to help understand the present so we may have a future. But first I need to tell you a story." I began

"Many years ago Amoura fell in love. She fell in love with this tall dark and handsome man. This handsome man turned out to be a demon, and Amouras friends warned her not to be with him for he would just hurt her. However she didn't care about what they were saying as She thought their love was pure and eternal. Yet one day she woke to find her love in the arms of another and another and another. Heart broken she confronted the Demon about his actions. The demon laughed at her and simply told her that as a demon he loved no-one but himself. Blinded by anger and a broken heart Amoura cursed her lover and his entire species. She cursed him to find his one soul mate and it be marked by a symbol that would appear identically upon them. Her curse made it so this one soul would be of human origin so that once the human died the demon would be alone for eternity, The demon just laughed in her face and told her that would never affect him...but he was wrong. Three years later he met his soul mate. Determined not to lose her to the cruel cold grasp of death  he tried to turn her into one of his kind, But in doing so he changed the very base of her soul and they both died. And Amoura has been punishing the demons with this very same curse for over a thousand years."

"Wait hold on.  One chick a long time ago got her heart broken and she punishes an entire race for it......Totally unfair and racist" Julie exclaims.

"Well when you live forever you tend to hold grudges for a long time. But I don't see why its relevant to us? Your a demon not a human" Sebastian said turning to me.

"That where I got confused. Then i thought about it harder. When i was turned into a demon it was done via blood transfer not soul. Meaning when i became a demon I got to keep my human soul. Or at least part of it" I explained,

And just like that Sebastian's mouth dropped open. He quickly regained his composure and began to speak "So our binding is the part of your soul that's still human?" 

"That was what i was told." 

"But what does this mean for us?"

"I honestly dont know. But i'd like to find out" I told him and he pulled me closer

"Man. I thought my relationships were complicated. At least  i never had to worry about Soul binding. You were right Sebastian, this human really doesn't understand demon relationships" Julie stated rubbing her temples.

"Couldn't get anymore complicated at least" Sebastian said

"Oh. Sebastian. That's only half of it" I stated
