David POV

Jasmine and I are sitting by the lake waiting for Wyatt to come talk to us, he said it was important and he would be right here. As we sit here and watch the sun light ripple in the waves, I start to think about what Wyatt said about the ones that just entered the camp. The leader is Kamama's father Alpha Adahy and the others are his warriors. But isn't the five warriors and the braves that are with us from the same pack?

"Jas, what do you think is up with Alpha Adahy? From what Wyatt told me the closer you and I got to them the madder he got. I don't think he was very happy with them for letting all of us join them." I was trying to get her to talk to me about everything.

"To be honest I have no idea what is going on anymore. Sometimes I feel as if I, I mean we are being left out of stuff. Not just regular stuff important stuff. You have one of the highest ranks in the pack but you're not being told everything. That's just how I feel thought, I could be wrong." She lets out a small sigh as she leans into me.

A little while later, I hear Wyatt telling me they are on their way and would be here in just a few moments. He sounded like something is bothering him very bad and I have a very bad felling about it. Next thing I know Wyatt, Kamama, Grant, Mary, Paul and Emilina come into the clearing by the lake, we stand to great them.

"David, let's sit over here in the shade while we talk. Jasmine, could you help Emilina and Kamama and Mary for a few moments." Wyatt says without any emotions in his voice or on his face.

"Just need your help bring the stuff over for lunch for all of us. You know how these guys can get when they don't eat." Emilina's voice is full of laughter as they head back to the camp to get the food.

Wyatt turns to me with a serious look on his face and I knew this was not going to be a quick talk. Paul was sitting on my right side and Grant was sitting on Wyatt's right side. No one said anything for a few moments.

"Okay there back at camp and we can talk freely. First block everyone except us from you minds. Do not let anyone any no matter what." Wyatt tells us and we obey quickly.

"Done", the three of us say in unison.

"David, it is very, very important you tell me the truth to these next few questions I have. Your answers can save a lot of lives." I nod my head to Wyatt letting him know I understand. "When you were doing "missions" for the fake alpha did he ever send you to a small village in the middle of the woods?" Wyatt asked never taking his eyes off mine.

"Yes, I was to scout it out and tell him if I thought they were a threat. He wanted numbers of fighters, shifters, females...he wanted it all. But after three days of watching them I knew they were only humans and in no way a threat to any of us." I tell him the truth.

"So what did you say in your report?" Grant asks this time.

"I told him the same thing; they are nothing but humans and not a threat to our way of life." I answer him.

"Did he ever send anyone else to the village?" Wyatt asks.

"No, he took me for my word. I had no reason to lie to him about it, I told him the truth as I saw it. I mean I could not smell any shifters in the village or anything like that." I told them. "For the three days that I was there, I waited and watched I saw nothing to report."

"Do you know if he ever met a woman from the city in the harbor?" Wyatt was getting fast at firing the questions.

"He would send a runner with a message to his sister in the city every few months." I told him
