(Louis' POV)
I woke up early, and slid out of bed as quietly as I could, not wanting to wake Em. She was now 7 months pregnant, and she just seemed to be sleeping a hell of a lot, so I didn't want to wake her. She always looked so peaceful when she slept as well, there was no way I'd interrupt that. I tiptoed out of the room and down the stairs, where I went into the kitchen and made a cup of tea. I went into the lounge and turned on the TV, and tried to watch the morning news, but I got bored. I started to flip the channels and then a kids channel came up, and I couldn't help but smile to myself. In a couple of months, this would be all that would be on our TV for the next 10 years or something!
The funny thing about Em being pregnant, is that she was so so happy about it, and there were not many bad days at all. In the last 7 months, there would've been about 4 I think, maybe less. It was just good seeing her so incredibly happy. I turned the TV off and went back upstairs to see Em starting to stir from her sleep. I quickly got changed into a pair of red pants and a stripy t-shirt and pulled some socks on for once and waited for Em to wake up.
"What time is it?" she asked groggily as she rubbed her eyes after finally awakening.
"Just after 10" I told her and leaned down to kiss her forehead. "Morning, peanut!" I exclaimed excitedly and moved down to her belly, which was now even bigger, and kissed it as well and Em giggled as she watched me.
"Let's set it up now," she said excitedly, and I smiled at her as she pushed herself out of bed. We went downstairs and stopped in the kitchen so Em could take her medication, and then into one of the spare rooms where we had everything stored.
Today we were setting up Peanut's room. We'd bought all our furniture, and most of the furnishings, and we'd put off setting it up, but we figured we might as well do it now, otherwise it'd never get done. I carried all the heavy boxes upstairs into the room that we decided would the nursery, and Em carried all the light boxes with the clothes and décor in them.
"What should we do first?" she asked me, and I had no idea to be honest.
"Maybe we should put up the cot?" I asked, and she nodded and helped me take out all the parts from the box.
We both tried to get it together, but no matter which way we put the pieces, how many different ways we tried to put it together, we couldn't work it out. We sat in the middle of the room as Em studied the instructions, and she threw them down with a huff. I decided to call Harry and see if he could come over and help.
"Hellooo?" his husky voice came through the phone a bit hurriedly.
"Hazza, is this a bad time?" I asked, hoping I hadn't interrupted something.
"Noo, I just couldn't get my shoe on," he replied with a grunt and I started laughing. "What's up Lou?" he asked me, and I watched Em lay down in the middle of the floor frustrated.
"We're setting up Peanut's room, but we have no idea how to do this bloody cot. Can you help out?" I asked him hopefully and he laughed down the phone.
"Yeah, I'll be over soon, but I can't stay for too long, I've gotta go down and see my mum," he said and I nodded, then realised he couldn't see me.
"Yeah, that's alright, see you soon," I said and we hung up. Em and I waited for him to arrive, and half an hour later he'd let himself into the house and bounded into the room that Em and I were sitting in.
He looked at both of us and then at the numerous pieces of wood and nuts and bolts strewn across the floor and huffed and shook his head.
"You're hopeless, Lou" he sighed and grabbed the instructions from Em.
