Emily's POV)
I quickly pulled out the tablet from my pocket and shoved it into the bag of tablets, which was ever increasing. I buried the bag back inside my draw of clothes and went to lie in bed as I waited for Louis to get out of the shower. It had been 2 weeks since I'd started to not take the tablets, so there were about 27 of them in the bag now, and no one was suspecting a thing. I didn't feel as happy as I did that day that I first forgot them, but whenever I've been feeling down, I've put up a front so no one will know. Whenever I did feel down though, I'd occupy myself with things that made me forget about it, things that made me feel a little happier, and then I'd take no notice of what was happening.
"You tired?" Louis asked me as he entered our bedroom with the towel around his hips, planting a kiss on my head.
"Mmmmm," I groaned into the pillow and rolled onto my stomach trying to avoid any conversation. I felt terrible, but I just wasn't really in the mood to talk to him right at that moment.
"Sleep in for a bit then, I'll wake you up later," he said with a smile, and I rolled over and leaned up and kissed him on the lips softly before rolling back over and trying to sleep.
Louis got dressed quickly and I listened to him skip lightly down the stairs, and I rolled over and stared at the ceiling. I wasn't actually too tired, but I liked to sleep when I started to feel bad, so that's what I tried to do. I buried my head into my pillow and shut my eyes, and soon enough, I drifted into a rocky sleep.
"Wake up sleeping beauty," a voice whispered into my ear, and I received kisses all over my neck and cheek.
"I'm up, I'm up!" I groaned and rolled over and kissed Louis on the lips. "What time is it?" I asked croakily, these being some of the first words I'd spoken all day.
"Just passed 5," Louis told me quietly with a small smile, and I looked at him as if he was insane.
"Why the hell did you wake me up at 5am?! Let me go back to sleep!" I exclaimed frustrated, and he started laughing at me.
"It's 5pm Em, come on! You need to get up!" he laughed and kissed my cheek again.
"What the hell?! 5pm?! Why didn't you wake me up earlier?!" I exclaimed and bolted upright, glaring at him.
"You looked pretty peaceful, so I didn't wanna wake you. What do you want for dinner?" he asked me with a smile as he pushed himself up off the bed.
"Nothing, I'm not really hungry," I lied, and pushed myself up with my hands so I was leaning against the pillows that were propped up behind me.
"Are you sure? You've gotta eat something darlin," he told me with a worried look flashing over his face for a brief second.
"Yeah, I promise I'll be right. If I get hungry I'll eat a sandwich later. In the meantime, I'm going for a run," I said softly with a reassuring smile and I pushed myself out of bed to change into a running outfit, and Louis nodded and smiled and went downstairs to make some dinner.
I went downstairs and found everyone in the kitchen, and my stomach dropped at the thought of trying to hide another tablet. Everyone was trying to convince Louis not to cook, and to let Niall do the honours, and I had to pipe in with my agreement.
"As much as I love you, you should probably let Niall do the cooking," I told him with a kiss on the lips as I snaked around him and to the fridge to get a bottle of water.
"This actually isn't fair. That pasta turned out alright!" Louis tried to argue with everyone, and we all just laughed.
"Lou, the pasta was all stuck together, and the sauce wasn't even hot!" Danielle said laughing and everyone nodded. He sat down at the breakfast bar defeated and put his head in his hands.
