(Louis' POV)
Pippa wouldn't stop crying and I swear she knew I was leaving for a while. My stomach knotted at the thought of having to leave them soon so I could go to the first show tonight, and I could see that Em was trying to fight back her tears. I picked up my bags and set them at the door, sighing as I did so, Em following me with Pippa in her arms. We were both silent, the only sound in the house being Pip's cries. We stood in the foyer and Em put Pippa into my arms and looked down trying to fight her tears.
Pippa cried in my arms, and it was like she was sensing the sadness going around the room. It was hard for me not to tear up, but I didn't wanna bring anymore emotion to the situation. I held Pippa close to my chest and kissed her forehead.
"Don't cry Pippa, you'll make Mummy sad," I said sadly and swayed with her slightly. "I'll see you soon Pippa, I love you," I said and kissed her on the forehead again and handed her back to Em, who looked up at me and as she did so, the tears started to fall out of her eyes. I rushed over to her and she put Pippa down into the travel cradle that was sat by the door, and I pulled her into a tight embrace that I never wanted to pull apart from.
"Don't cry darlin," I said softly and I stroked her hair as her tears soaked through my jumper.
"But you're gone for so long," she sobbed and looked up at me with glistening eyes. Every time she cried, my heart shattered. I hate seeing her sad, it breaks me apart.
"You can always come to some of the shows, remember?" I said, trying to sound positive as sadness overwhelmed me. "You'll be right darlin," I smiled and tilted her chin up and kissed her softly and slowly. We broke apart and I held her close to me again for as long as possible.
We finally broke apart and she'd stop crying for the moment, but she wasn't looking at me. I tilted her chin up so we were staring into each other's eyes.
"I love you," I said softly and she started to cry again.
"I love you too Louis," she sniffled and I stepped backwards and picked up my bags.
"I'll see you soon love," I said softly and opened the door. I looked back at her and the tears were streaming down her face, and it took everything for me to not tear up. I looked down and walked out the door and to the car, shoving my bags in the boot and got in.
I drove to the old house as fast as the traffic would let me, and I know I should've been overcome with excitement, don't get me wrong, I was thrilled to be doing our own tour, but I was already missing Em and Pippa. I drove with the radio on trying to drown out whatever I was feeling, and soon enough I arrived at the old house. I grabbed my bags from the boot and let myself in, finding everyone waiting in the lounge for me.
"BOO BEAR!" Harry shouted and came and ran up to me, jumping on me and nearly knocking me over.
"HAZZA!" I exclaimed and danced around with him around my waist and we all started laughing. I don't know how they did it, but these boys managed to make everything seem better.
"LET'S GET ON THE ROAD!" Liam shouted and got up to kiss Danielle goodbye. Harry let go of me and went to go kiss Tess goodbye. I wasn't sure what was going on with them, they weren't official or anything, but they were right into each other.
"YEAH BUDDIE!!" Niall exclaimed excitedly and we all started laughing, said goodbye to the girls and rushed out the door and into two of our cars to go to the lot where we'd get in our tour bus for the next few months.
(Emily's POV)
"I guess it's just you and me for a while, Pip," I said as I wiped away my tears and picked up Pippa from her cradle by the door and held her close to me. Her cries seemed to lessen, but mine didn't. Lou hadn't even been gone five minutes and it was like my eyes were taps.
