Emily's POV
We parked the car, and I was amazed to see how quickly the paparazzi ran over to us. The car was literally surrounded by people with cameras and notepads, and there were people screaming everywhere, and the cameras were so bright. Louis turned to me, his face clouded with worry.
"Are you sure you're gonna be right?" he asked me, his voice full of concern.
"I'll be fine, trust me," I told him, and I threw him a wide smile and squeezed his hand reassuringly. He smiled at me, and quickly got out of his side and met me at mine, opening the door for me, and I smiled, hopping out of the car as ladylike as I could.
As soon as I got out of the car, the noise and the light hit me. People were screaming at us, and cameras were flashing so much. It was so loud and chaotic, that I couldn't help but laugh, and Louis gave me the weirdest look ever.
"LOUIS! WHO IS THIS? IS THIS YOUR GIRLFRIEND? WHAT'S YOUR NAME? ARE YOU TOGETHER?" they all screamed at us, the cameras still going nuts.
Louis gripped my hand and we smiled at everyone, staying silent, and we made our way through them and into a restaurant. We flopped into the corner booth, and I started laughing, as Louis tried to compose himself. He shot me a weird look again, before a half smile crept onto his face.
"What's so funny, Em?" he asked, laughing at me, and he gave me a menu.
"I just can't believe how crazy it is out there," I turned and waved to them all at the window, and Louis pulled me back around and burst out laughing.
"What can I get for y- Oh my god, you're Louis Tomlinson!" the waitress exclaimed, and I couldn't help but laugh, which resulted in a light kick under the table as he tried not to laugh at me.
"What can I get for you guys?" she composed herself, and Louis smiled at her.
"Can I write it down?" he asked politely, and she smiled and handed him her notepad. I'd told him I wanted the gnocchi and a pineapple juice, so he knew what to order for me, and I watched him write, having an idea of what he was about to do.
"1 pineapple juice
1 gnocchi carbonara
1 Iced lemon tea
1 hamburger w the lot
1 garlic bread"
He signed his autograph down the bottom of the page, and he smiled at her and handed it back.
"Oh my god! Thank you so much!" she exclaimed, and threw him a wide smile.
"No worries babe," he smiled at her, and turned back to me, smiling even bigger. He was honestly so great with his fans, I loved that about him and the boys. They always made time for them.
Our food came out about half an hour later, and I was amazed at how much Louis could eat, and how fast. He ate his hamburger, and when I got full, he ate the rest of my gnocchi. Which was a lot! I just laughed, and he shot me a fake hurt look. He could never beat Niall at eating though!
"I'm sorry boo bear," I cooed, and leaned over the table and kissed his cheek, and felt his cheeks tighten in a smile under my lips.
"I guess that makes it okay," he said, and pouted his lip, and I burst out laughing. "Just don't ever call me boo bear again," he laughed.
"Okay boo bear," I burst out laughing and sunk into my chair.
"Its so good to see you laughing," he smiled at me.
"It's so good to be laughing. I wouldn't be doing it without you!" I exclaimed and smiled widely. It honestly felt to good to be laughing and smiling again.
We got up and Louis payed for our meal, and put his hand over my mouth when I insisted that I pay my half. I licked his hand, and when he flung it back I ran away laughing, and he caught up with me outside the restaurant and pulled me into a hug from behind and tickled me, causing me to laugh uncontrollably, and the media went nuts.
"Okay, okay, truce!" I managed to get out between laughs, and he finally let go and couldn't stop laughing.
"Thanks boo bear," I burst out laughing and dragged him along by the hand into some shops.
I felt like I owed the boys and Danielle for taking me in and getting me better and saving my life. But I didn't know what to do. Louis and I browsed some clothing shops, and he bought 3 new pairs of TOMS and a new onesie. I honestly don't know how he manages to break all his pairs of TOMS. I bought a new blazer and a pair of boots, and decided that I'd come shopping to buy some more stuff with Danielle another day. New clothes for a new me, I thought and smiled to myself.
We went into a homeware shop, and we looked at all the decor. I found this really nice photo frame, and it was really big so it could fit a picture of all of us. I decided to buy it as a gift for everyone for helping me so much, and I headed over to the card rack, and bought a simple thank you card. Louis didn't see what I was doing, thank god. He was too occupied looking at the rugs for some reason.
As we left the store, Louis linked his hand through mine again, and it sent sparks up my arm again. I looked up at him and smiled, and I saw that he was already looking down at me, smiling. We headed back to the car, as we'd had enough of the town for one day. He helped me into my seat and closed the door after me, and headed to his side. I turned to face him once he got in, and I smiled. He looked at me, and smiled back, his eyes sparkling.
"I've had an amazing day, Louis. Thank you so much," I said softly, hearing the breath between us.
"No, thank you Em," he smiled at me.
"What for?" I asked him, the confusion clear in my voice.
"For making me happier than I already was," he said softly, and at that moment we both leaned in to each other, our lips centimeters apart.
He closed the gap between us, and pushed his lips gently on to mine, kissing me softly, but passionately. His tongue ran across my bottom lip, and I opened my mouth, our tongues working together. I pulled away, and opened my eyes, smiling.
"And you just made this day, that much more amazing," I said softly, before pecking him on the lips again and doing up my seatbelt.
"YOU are amazing, Em," he said softly, and squeezed my thigh.
We smiled at the paparazzi, who'd just gotten everything on camera, and we drove through them and made our way home. We sat in a comfortable silence most of the way, talking slightly about how funny everything was, or how much of a good time we had.
We went through the familiar wooden front door, both of us cracking up laughing, hands joined together. Harry and Niall were sitting at the kitchen bench, and they raised their eyebrows at each other and looked at us.
"Good day?" Harry asked with a smile, looking at our hands. Louis and I looked at each other and smiled.
"Amazing," we both said, and started laughing.
