(Emily's POV)

"Louis, leave it alone! Stop picking at it!" I heard Danielle scald from the kitchen, and I heard light tapping sounds, which I presumed to be Danielle swatting Louis away. I couldn't help but laugh to myself as I waited in darkness in the dining room.

"Okay... 1..2...3!" Harry exclaimed and he and the boys walked in to the dining room with big smiles on their faces, and they were followed not long after by Danielle who was holding a big cake with lots of candles, the light illuminating her face.

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Em/Emi/Emily! Happy birthday to you!" they all sang, big smiles on all our faces.

Danielle placed the cake in front of me and I couldn't help but look at it in awe as I took it in. It was a big square shaped chocolate mud cake, covered in cream coloured icing, piped decorations all over it, with "HAPPY 19TH EMILY!" in big brown writing. A few love hearts, musical notes and a microphone were piped on to it, and down the bottom in tiny writing had "With Love - Louis, Danielle, Liam, Harry, Niall & Zayn" in brown icing.

"It's beautiful! Thank you guys!" I exclaimed with a wide smile and they all laughed softly.

"Yeah yeah, whatever! Hurry up and blow out the candles before you it gets ruined!" Louis exclaimed impatiently, causing all of us to burst out laughing.

"Okay, fine! Wanna help?" I asked him, and watching his eyes light up and him nod eagerly was hilarious, it was like he was still a child sometimes and I smiled widely at him.

We blew out the candles together and the lights switched back on, and I leaned over and kissed him, a big smile still on my face.

"Oi! No kissing until she cuts the cake!" Harry exclaimed, and we all laughed at him.

I grabbed the knife and cut right down the cake, making a point to touch the bottom, everyone laughing, and I turned to Louis with a smile and planted a big kiss on his lips, him happily returning.

I made Danielle cut the cake, because I was shocking at doing it, and I would probably butcher it if I tried. We all burst out laughing when Niall was overjoyed that he was going to be getting some of the cake soon, and I made sure to give him quite a large piece.

"EM, EM! OPEN YOUR PRESENTS NOW!" Louis shouted at me across the room as I cleaned up the plates from the cake, and everyone laughed and cheered as I made my way back into the living room where they'd all gathered, their gifts at the ready.

I always feel guilty when people buy me presents. I don't know why though, I just do. I hate when people spend their money on me, when they could be spending it on themselves.

"You need to open mine first," Louis said to me excitedly, planting a kiss on my cheek and squeezing my waist as I sat down next to him on the sofa.

"Thank you boo bear," I laughed, smiling widely as he handed me a big parcel wrapped in purple sparkly wrapping paper. "Did you wrap this?" I asked, dumbfounded and he shook his head sadly.

"No, I couldn't do it. Danielle helped me," he said so cutely, and I couldn't help but giggle, and I kissed his cheek, smiling.

I carefully unwrapped the paper, receiving moans from the boys for being too careful with it, and I was shocked at what I saw. Why had he bought me so much? I felt insanely guilty, and he nudged me to open what was inside. I picked up a small box and opened it gently and gasped when I saw what was inside. It was the bracelet I was in awe of at the jewellery store! I picked up the delicate piece gently, feeling the cool chain brush my warm hand and wrist. I turned it over, and the rectangular piece of silver had been engraved. I couldn't help but tear up slightly when I saw it.
