(Emily's POV)

I manoeuvred myself so I was sitting up in bed and looked around to the empty room. That's when I remembered that Louis was off with the boys doing a radio interview after their album release. I pushed myself out of the bed and waddled downstairs into the kitchen to take my medication. I made a cup of tea and sat down at the breakfast bar and checked the clock. 9.12am. I still had just under an hour until Danielle would be here. I finished my tea and went upstairs to have a shower.

I glanced at my body in the mirror as I waited for the water to heat up, and I smiled at myself. I was now 38 weeks pregnant, and I was bloody huge. I wasn't ashamed though, I loved my baby belly. I eventually got in and got out of the shower and went back into the bedroom and got changed into my clothes.

As you may remember, I said that I only wear heels very rarely these days. Well today was one of the days that I felt like wearing them, so I did.

Danielle picked me up 20 minutes later, and I scrawled a note to Louis saying where I was just in case he got home and freaked out.

"Holy shit Emi, you're huge!" she laughed, putting her hand on my belly that stuck out far in front of me.

"You saw me a week a go, not much could've changed since then!" I laughed as we headed down my driveway.

"I dunno, you look bigger!" she laughed and opened her car door.

"I've still got 2 weeks left!" I exclaimed and eased myself down into the seat.

We headed into town to do some more baby shopping, as I'd rung Dan last night having a freakout that I didn't have enough things for Peanut. She'd laughed and told me that last week when she'd come over, our house was bursting with baby food, baby bottles, baby clothes and baby toys. It didn't stop me from freaking out though! We parked the car and the paparazzi immediately swarmed around us, eager to get pictures of Danielle and I and especially of my bump.

We got out and walked down the streets of London, the media trailing closely behind us. We entered the familiar baby shops, slowly searching through each one. We walked into the first shop and picked up some extra nappies.

"What exactly are you looking for today?" Danielle laughed as she came over to me from the other side of the shop.

"Just the necessities, like bottles and stuff," I told her, trying to convince myself that that's what I was here for. In all honesty, I was just really worried that I wasn't prepared, and I wanted to calm myself by buying whatever baby stuff I could.

We payed for the nappies and headed into a coffee shop and I ordered a green tea and Danielle ordered a frappe.

"Do you have any names for Peanut?" I asked Danielle. "We have no idea what to call it," I sighed and sipped my tea.

"I quite like Danielle," she said thoughtfully and we both started laughing.

"I like Danielle too, but I don't think either of you would appreciate having the same name," I laughed and we both finished our drinks a while after that.

We walked into the second shop, but we didn't buy anything. That shop was mainly all décor and stuff, so we continued into the third shop. We picked up some extra spoons, some more baby food, just in case, and some more bottles.

We moved around the store, looking at all kinds of different things, and I felt I was going crazy. I went over to where Danielle was standing, and looked at what she was holding. In her hands was a small delicate music box, with a dancing mouse ballerina inside of it, and the most beautiful music was playing out of it. Danielle looked up when she saw me and smiled.
