After two hours at the hospital the doctor came out.
"We have a diagnosis for Ross...He has type 1 diabetes."
Riker and Rydel gasped. "What exactly does this mean for his lifestyle?" Riker asked.
"Essentially nothing. He can still do everything he used to but now. He will have to, or you will have to give him insulin." the doctor said.
Riker nodded. "Okay."
"It'll take us a while longer to put in the pump." the doctor said, before going back.
"He's gonna be okay." Riker said. Rydel nodded.
