***Nathan***

"I don't care how long she stays in here, you act polite, got it, Nathan?" My boss has ahold on the collar of my shirt, trying to be threatening, but really he's a bug. A pudgy guy, loosing his hair and divorced four times.

"Yes, sir." I spit through my teeth. The words I hate to say and haven't said have just came out of my mouth. He lets go of my collar as both of us return to work. The ginger, stares out the large windows intensely, again, who is she looking for?

The ringer is set off and another person walks in. Taking a seat in front of the girl. Dark curly hair washes over his head, eyes shine with flame of something other than sweet.

"Oh, Derek. I'm so glad you could make it." I hear the girls voice say, echoing through the cafe. I continue wiping table near. Eyes shoot out of my head as I understand what she just said... Derek. My head turns in his direction and sure enough it's Derek. Hands wrapped in white bandages, T-shirt wrinkled.

"I don't like you, Sapphire." I hear him say. Continuing my counter cleaning I walk closer to the next table, setting the rag on the white surface; moving it in circles.

A small gasp escapes her mouth. "Why?" She half way screams. "You can't love Paige forever!"

"That's the thing. I'm- I'm getting her back. I've been cleaning myself up-" Sapphire rudely cuts him off, high pitched voice speaking over his.

"No, you can't! I created you to be mean!"

"No."His face turns into a twisted expression, almost making the sentence sound like a question.

"No?" She scoffs. Slamming the cup down; sloshes ring up to the side.

As much as I would love to hear this all, I want to go home.

"Excuse me, it's closing time, I'm afraid I have to ask you to leave." A small smirk kisses my face. I look Derek in the eye. I want him to know who I am, because Paige will end up with me, and I'll make sure it happens.

Derek simply nods his head moving out of the chair, while Sapphire stops, grabs Derek's hand, and gets up. He shakes it away, walking to the exit, hand on the door, slightly pushing it open. "Leave me alone." He simply states, before walking out into the red car I saw at the park.

She watches him walk, starting the car; rolling away, now the directions turn towards me.

"You're an idiot!" Sapphire screams pointing a finger into my chest.

I slightly grab her arm, getting close to her face.

"And you're a bitch. What's your excuse?" Eyes wide, mouth hanging open, as she moves her finger. Glossy eyes leave her sight, walking out the door.
