This one is blue
A splash of sky in a sea of green
This one pink
A blushing sunset of gentle love
And red here
Like a fire crackling merrily in the hearth
White flashes there
Like a freshly laundered sheetPolka dots of colour
Like tiny exclamations of fun
They shine through the emerald glass
Sunbursts of joy for all to share--
(AN: Having written those two intensely emotional pieces, I then wrote another that was far more whimsical and happy. This was the result. I dedicate this piece to my Aunty Susan.)
