I need you to stay
And hold my hand when I ask for it
Which isn't very often at all
                              I need you to stay
Because I need to know
That you're alright
                              I need you to stay
And teach me to recognise
When I'm being a bitch
                              I need you to stay
And cuddle me
Because it's a sign of our love
                              I need you to stay
And wrap me in blankets
When I'm so cold I can't feel my emotions
                              I need you to stay
                              Don't go
You're the reason I want to stay human and not dead.

(AN: This poem is dedicated to my friends, who stayed when I finally became selfish for once and demanded attention. Thank you for providing that along with your comfort and gentle love.)
