Lucifers pov:

Hearing a sickening loud smack ring through out the room had me immediately looking over towards Sapphire. Drinks spilling to the floor, all eyes turned towards the noise. I don't know why, but it felt like she was in trouble. I could just feel it. That idiot Michael was smirking at her, I saw her shaking with anger as Michael walked away. I appeared next to her to ask her what had happened. She jumped slightly at my appearance, anger radiated off of her.

Taking her face gently in my hand, I caressed her cheek with my thumb, looking deep within her familiar red anger filled eyes. Tears were forming in her sweet big eyes. Her cheeks held a blush, but not from embarrassment or shyness and her lips were parted slightly as she tried to calm her breathing. She leaned into my caress, slowly calming down, she closed her eyes and opened them after a few seconds.

Sapphires eyes shone with worry, which had me questioning exactly what Michael had done. Different scenarios flooded my brain, but before jumping to conclusions, I asked instead.

"Are you okay?" I questioned, looking over her to see if she was hurt. Rubbing her arms soothingly, I brought her into an embrace, just holding her. Nope she was fine on the outside, but something had happened to her.

"I-I... he tried to kiss me..." she sucked in a deep breath, I could feel the anger start to build, wings bursting out of my back, my blood pounding in my ears, in that moment I thought nothing of the pain the wings brought, only the anger that filled my bones, the crowds gasped in horror at what they were witnessing. "Lucifer! Wait I need to tell you something!" I heard Sapphire call, but I ignored her, this was for me. Without a second thought, I went to find my "brother."
.....................................................

Michael was leaning lazily against a wall close by, his smirk never leaving his oh so perfect face. Looking as sweet and innocent as ever, I knew better. He infuriated me to no end, his smug face and fake angelic looks!

Michael chuckled filling the empty air with noise, "hello brother," he said with his ever present smirk.

"You stopped being my brother the day you chose to trick me, with her," I clenched my fists in rage, my face contort with disgust. My chest heaving with nearly a thousand years of hate and anger. Michael just shrugged and stared at the floor, his blonde hair covering his eyes, "you wanted me gone, now I'm here in this place looking after the evilness of this world." I walked closer to him, "Oh and brother, next time you lay a finger on Sapphire, you'll be gone." Michael chuckled looking at me, he leaned his head back against the wall. A sick grin plastered onto his face.

"She's not all she seems you know, remember that Lucifer, maybe your precious mate is on our side." I finished the few steps in between us and grabbed him by the throat. Tightening my grip threateningly, Michaels eyes opened wider as he realised I wasn't in the mood for his tiresome games.

"What do you mean by that you pitiful, goody freaking two shoes?" Michael began laughing hysterically. His laugh strained due to the fact that my hand was tightening ever so slowly around his neck, making his face redden slightly.

"Exactly as it seems..." Michael gasped for air tightly holding onto my hand that was still wrapped firmly around his neck, "you've always been too trusting in everything... maybe little wittle sapphire is the big bad enemy and I'm just looking out for my big brother," he spoke quietly, his eyes shining knowingly. Not a single emotion that passed his eyes would suggest that the last part he spoke was the truth. I wasnt dumb, he was playing another game with me. I could easily through him in the pit, but he'd soon reappear. This was merely because we were not humans and didnt own a certain part of the soul they did.

Dropping my hand from his throat, I watched as he picked himself up off the floor. His once neat blonde hair was now messed up and all over the place. How dare he come into my home and talk about my mate. Sapphire was as innocent a girl you would ever find.

Curiosity overtook, my eyebrows knitted together in thought she does act weird sometimes... quickly pushing the thought away, I heard Michael chuckle picking up on my thoughts.

"Already having doubts dearest Lucifer, that can't be good in a relationship like yours... one that has to last eternity..." turning to face him, a slow grin spread on my face, my red eyes burned with hate, my wings beating menacingly against my back, ignoring the strands of black hair that slipped into my eyes, I'd had about enough of my brother and his stupid games to last me the rest of my life and more.

Swinging my fist back, I planted Michael square on the nose, hearing a satisfying crack from the bone. Blood poured from his nose, down his chin and dripped slowly onto the floor. Michael slumped to the wall falling to the ground, holding his nose. I knew he would heal fast, we were after all, immortal beings. Having had my fun with Michael, I made my way back to Sapphire...

Hey, I know I promised to update yesterday, but I've started sixth form and had to get some of that work done last night. Anyway, hope this chapter satisfied some of that hate for Michael, but what will happen next?...p
