I felt it. The change that happened in me with the small admission. The change in him. In both of us. That blinding desire for a connection happened at the same time he flashed his own blinding grin.
I answered back with my own and quietly sighed while I look down at my feet.
When we look back at that moment now, the next thing that happened was both our favorites. I ask him what made him do that and he would always say, "There was that light in your eyes. I couldn't help myself."
It was impulsive but it sealed everything for me.
