His mom pulled from the embrace with a frown and I stared at her like somebody punched me in the gut.

He was there beside me instantly.

You never left.

As if sensing my immediate change in demeanor more than the look of confusion in his mother's face, he was holding my hand in an instant with a gentle, "Are you okay?"

I looked up and saw your face.  I expected a complete panic attack with all the changes to my carefully laid our routine combined with my realization but his nervousness and boyish shy grin made me relax in his arms which made him wrap it around my waist.

"I have arrived." a shout from somewhere in the house broke our half embrace and I noticed his mom looking pensive.

It was then I realized I never said anything to her.  The time for that has apparently passed however because right then, his brother came in and said, "Well, hello there beautiful visitor."

His boyishness was so similar of DJ that I couldn't help but smile back.

My quiet hello was simultaneous with DJ's growl.

To this day I couldn't quite believe he could be jealous of his own brother when the only fact I was able to relax around him was because of how much he reminded me of DJ.

In fact, from then on, it was like you were the only one I see.
