Francisco, Asher, hanggang ngayon ba naman di pa rin kayo magkasundo na dalawa.. aba simula bata kayo pa yan ah naku baka mamaya nyan iba na yan." Gaudencio said with a hint of amusement in his voice. The four older people just gave each other meaningful looks but Asher and Bamboo just ignored them.

Everyone went to the family room. Bamboo's family and Asher's family nalang ang naiwan. They have some family/business matters to discuss. Coffee and tea ang iniinum ng iba while Asher, Francisco, Pam and Luis are having some wine.

" Well, aside sa 40th Anniversary namin  ngayon, we asked you guys to be here kasi we wanted to talk to you about the business in Manila." Bamboo's dad started the conversation as soon as everyone is settled in their seats.

Bamboo and Asher is sitting next to each other but is not talking. While Pam and Luis keeps on chatting on the other side.

" Yeah, kaya nga we asked you, Francisco and Asher to try and be here kasi naman lagi kayong dalawa ang wala sa gatherings, mostly kaming apat nalang coz you kids are so busy." Dugtung naman ng dad ni Asher.

" But before anything else, let's talk about sa 65th birthday celebration mo dad." Marie butt in. " Kasi pag business na usapan for sure matagal yan so unahin na natin." she continued

Gaudencio and Delfin are just listening to their wives talking and getting excited about the party and is observing their children.

" Ay oo nga Marie, I'm excited about that. Nabangit mo naba kay Francisco?" Divine said with enthusiasm

" What about it mom, tita Divine?"

" Well, your dad's going to have his 65th birthday celebration in 5 weeks and sabay na din retirement party nya, so we're going to have a big party and we want you to sing. Siguro naman walang talent fee na at you save the date already, I told Pancho na about it dati pa." Bamboo's mom said with excitement.

" Oh about that, yeah we already blocked the date and I'll stay a few more days as a vacation too." Bamboo said to his mom
That made his mom really happy and excited.

" And of course, I'll sing the songs you'd want me to, for you and dad."

" Thanks son, that's nice. How about you Asher? Were you able to save that date? And can you give in sa request namin ng tito mo? The one I told you on the phone 2 weeks ago?" Marie was looking at Asher hopeful.

Asher suddenly felt shy. She doesn't know how to say na she can't sing in front of many people but her tita Marie is asking her to sing for them too. She knows that Asher also have a good singing voice, only mahiyain ito.

" Naku tita, isipin ko po, you know I'm not that good in singing eh. Maybe just let  " kuya" Francisco do that. Besides I'm not even sure if I can make it kasi I'll be in London that week for some presentation but I promise to try to make it, pero yung pag kanta , naku po pang CR lang voice ko eh." Asher said jokingly. She knows she can sing pero she's really shy, well not when she was a kid but now she is. Bamboo gave him a look when she called him kuya. In his mind kailan pa sya tinawag na kuya ni Asher. Even when they were younger she never called him kuya, oh well if he remembered it right, she first called him kuya during the prom.

" Aww too bad, naku sana nga you can make it hija, grabe din pala work mo, you travel to different places kaya siguro wala kang time para sa lovelife mo eh." Marie said dreamingly." And I beg to disagree na pang CR lang voice mo, I remember you singing nung graduation nila Luis and Francisco sa bahay, you can sing my dear."
