Friends

One week after that gathering in San Francisco: NYC Manhattan, Asher's flat.

" So what happened? How does it feel being in his passenger side after 12 years? " Ally asked on the phone. She's Asher's friend and roommate when they were in Cal Poly. She and their other friends Becai and Mae knows about Asher's history with the current very popular rock icon of the Philippines.

" Wala, nothing, the usual lang,ayun we're at least civil with one another." ..Asher

" That's not what I mean you know. So did you guys talked? And when I say talk, I mean really talked." .. Ally

" We don't have anything to talk about Ally, tapos na yun, but he did say he wanted to clear things out when he invited me to have dinner." .. Asher

" Wahhhh.. he invited you for dinner? I knew it! Sabi ko nga na eh. I knew that look. Ay naku Asher, dapat you went to dinner with him at ng natapos na ang hide and seek nyo.  And maka totally move ko na hindi yung sa salita lang. Alam ko naman up to fan ka pa rin nya and more..Ally said enthusiastically. She feels that her friend although she keeps denying it still have those feelings for Francisco, natatakpan lang ng animosity at hurt dahil sa naging experience nya. But she knows through what she had observed with Asher and Bamboo 5 years ago in Vegas na kahit hindi nag usap at nag pansinan yung dalawa that they are aware of each other's presence. It was so obvious that time no matter how much her friend try to deny and disregard it.

" Honestly, I think it's about time na rin na you guys kiss and make up." .. Ally

" Ally, anong kiss and make up pinagsasabi mo dyan. There was never an Us diba? I'm a mistake ng eh... hahahaha." Asher was trying to put humor to their talk

" Hahahaha, that's not the kiss amd make up na tinutukoy  ko my friend.. assuming ka na naman.. What I'm saying is you guys need to clear the air at ng finally you can have a real lovelife no. Aba friend 28 kana kaya." ..Ally

" I had a real lovelife naman ah. I had Bri diba? hahaha.. but what can I do it just didn't work out for us. Aba imagine gamitin pa ako sa self discovery nya. Hahahaha kaloka lang ano, but at least he was honest and brave to admit everything. Oh and I admire him more for that, and now he's one of my dearest friend. Who says EX can never be friends. Bri and I is a proof that it is possible.. .. Asher

" Hahaha Bri is a different specie my dear. Ang ibig kong sabihin and this is serious my friend, I think it's about time you go out and see what's out there. The time with Bri was like 4 years ago and you know very well it wasn't what you really want that time friend, buti nalang pala confused si Bria kasi ikaw din naman eh Confused sa feelings mo up to now." .. Ally said like a litany.

" Hmm about that, actually Ally, I'm really serious in forgetting him na eh. I'm going with Sam sa birthday ni tito Gaudencio 4 weeks from now. You know like a first step diba try seing others...Asher

" Sam? As in Sam the high school friend of yours? Yung all these years eh ka email at nakaka chat mo pa din? Diba he's based in Singapore na? How? and why all of a sudden meron nyan?.. Ally knows Sam because Asher used to chat with him in their house sa California. She knows that Sam is good looking and she sensed that he likes Asher too BUT they are friends and he choose not to cross the line. She's not sure though how Asher thinks of Sam although she knows she's fond of him.

" Well, he was in SanFo too last week to visit his family. So I had dinner with him instead of going to the dinner invitation of Francisco. Ayun we catch up and you know na kahit we just keep in touch thru emails and iMessages we're good friends naman. So I invited him sa dinner party ni tito as plus one... Asher
