Duet

Everyone is back on their tables and Pam was on the stage to introduce the next number.

" Good evening everyone, I hope you guys are all having a great time. The buffet table is still open so, after all that dancing we can still enjoy the food."

" This next song number is a duet from a very special person, well he's my brother  so I have no choice but to say that, and from a very special woman who's very close to our family. She's actually like a sister to me. They will sing this song because apparently my mom just love it. So let's give it up once again to my brother who's now known as Bamboo and to the lovely, Asher.." Pam introduced the two.

Everyone was focused on the mini stage. All the guys can't help but admire Asher, she's just a sight to behold and some ladies can't help but gush at Bamboo but their hopes was gone in a second when they saw how he was being so attentive with Asher.

The instrument started and the two who just recovered from the earlier incident is again feeling the same nervousness and tension.

Bamboo took Asher's hand into his before he started to sing kaya nagulat si Asher. Both of them felt that electricity, the spark when they touched.  She didn't took her hand. Ayaw nya mapahiya si Bamboo. She's nervous and is shaking because she's going to sing a duet with him and because he is holding her hands.

Bamboo: 🎶🎵Well here we are again , I guess it must be fate. We've tried it on our own, but deep inside we've known, we'll be back to set things straight 🎶🎵

Bamboo was looking straight into Asher's eyes. She wasn't holding his stare. She tries to avoid looking into his. Bamboo held her hand tighter when she tried to losen his hold. So she looks at him. He smiled at her and gestures to continue with the song.

Asher decided to take control of her emotions and started to look at Bamboo too and this time when she was singing her lines it was Bamboo who got a little flustered. The lyrics seems to just fit something in their past.

The two faces each other. One hand holding each other, one hand holding their mic. All the people watching especially Bamboo's parents and Asher's are all kilig in what they are seing. They knew that the two aren't a couple but there's something in the way they look at each other that can't be denied. Even Sam noticed it and it hit him. He can tell that Asher has feelings for Bamboo and vice versa. He knows because Asher never looked at him the way she looks at Bamboo. He felt hurt but he's willing to take a chance, he will take his chance,he's a good friend to her and he knows that love can grow and develop.
