Keeping the Distance

Manalac Residence: The Next Day after the party

Everyone is on the dining table  for breakfast. Everyone except Francisco. He's still sleeping as of the moment because he got home almost dawn already.

" Where's Francisco? Pancho asan ang alaga mo? Why is he not joining us for breakfast. " Marie noticed that her son is the only one missing the breakfast. The Geronimo's except for Asher are all there too. Pancho and Chico is there but no Francisco.

" Ah, tita tulog pa po eh, he came in a little late, so hinayaan na namin makatulog pa." Pancho knows that Bamboo didn't get to have a good night sleep. He came in around 2 am and since the three of them is staying in Bamboo's old room in their San Francisco residence he and Chico woke up when he came in.

He feels sorry for his friend. He was so devastated and broken but he knows he can handle it. He said he's not giving up, he will not stop until Asher realizes she made a wrong choice. He's not backing down according to him. He's holding on because he feels that she feel the same way for him. He's just going to give her some space right now but he will not not stop pursuing her.

" Pam, alam mo ba saan nagpunta kagabi si Francisco? Ang sabi mo he said some place important, anu ba yun?" Marie continue to ask as they all eat.

Pam just looked at Luis and then at Pancho before she spoke.

" Ah, I think he went over to Asher last night, may itatanong daw." Pam just answered hoping their parents will not ask anymore questions.

" Kay Asher?" Hmmm" Marie looks at Divine and secretly smiled at her

" Oh, oo nga pala Divine, why is Asher not joining us today? Mag fly back na sya sa NY today?" Gaudencio was thinking what was Francisco needs to ask Asher but kept it to himself and instead ask about Asher.

" Ay oo kumpadre, she's actually on the airport na when she texted me a while ago. She and her friend wanted to have some time daw for the weekend."

Pancho and Chico was listening. In their mind could it be Sam that Asher is flying with. Bamboo told them what happened last night but he never told them that Sam is going to NY with Asher.

" I'm wondering bakit parang may tension between Francisco and Asher, I noticed that several weeks ago and yesterday too, and then he went over to Asher last night kaya nawala bigla sa party. Aba kumpadre mukang iba na ito ha." Gaudencio jokes that Luis and Pam almost choked on their food .

" Aba kumpadre, ako eh ayos lang basta ba hindi lolokohin ng anak mo si Asher ko, pero she's dating Sam so paano yun naiisip mo, aba dapat eh kumilos na yang bata mo ."Delfin responded to Gaudencio

" Oo nga eh medyo may kabagalan pa ata, kumpadre, mukang mauunahan pa."

" Kayo talaga, huag nga kayo, malay natin sa dalawa, basta baka mausog pa ang apo namin ni Divine eh." Marie said and she and Divine just laugh.

It was Pancho's turn to almost choked on his food. In his mind patay na pati mga magulang kasama sa nag expect eh hindi pa nga ayos ang dalawa.

Pam and Luis just gave each other a meaningful look. Apparently they are not the only one who's seing things. Mas matindi pa pala parents nila.

Meanwhile at LAX

" OMG , you're so pretty my friend, grabe I'm excited, buti nalang talaga nagkataon free ako kundi ewan kung kailan pa tayo ulit magkikita" Asher met with Mae at LAX,she flew in early from SanFo to LAX so they will have the same flight going to NYC
