I paced back and forth in the waiting room. My feet carried me, as I moved back and forth, back and forth. My heart was beating loudly in my ears making every sound, every noise block out.

I could seem to stop my whole body from shaking as I still felt physically sick from what happened.

"Shay, he's fine."  Chris placed his hand on my shoulders, halting me.

"I know, I know, but it just- looked bad.. and I feel so gu-"

"Yeah, yeah you feel guilty because this is your issue blah, blah, blah I've heard this all before. Come on, you haven't eaten at all. Let's go to the vending machine." I allowed Chris to pull me away from the waiting room and to the hall where the vending machine was.

"What do you want?" Chris pulled out his wallet.

"The Snickers. Thank you."  I never thought about it until now but I was starving.

Louis and I were at the rooftop for three hours. My phone had no service and wouldn't call anyone but Chris and Jessa both knew that she had been at the club and once they realized we weren't back and still gone, Chris called the police. Thank god he did because I don't know how long we would've been up there.

I'm pretty sure Louis needed stitches and there was something wrong with his left rib. I assume it's when he fell down the stairs but had so much adrenaline he didn't even feel the pain.

I still seemed to be in a daze after that happened. Jay said that the police have Jen and she is in custody now but it still worries me at how powerful she is.

"Here. Now eat up."

I grabbed the candy bar from Chris eating the whole thing. We walked back to the waiting room. Jessa was asleep in one of the chairs. Chris jacket was used as a blanket.

I looked at Chris noticing him looking at her sympathetically

"You really love her don't you?" Chris looked at me and then back at Jessa. He nodded, his cheeks turning to a pink color.

"She loves you too. A lot."

"You think so?" He responded unsure of himself.

"I know so." I smiled softly.

"Louis loves you too. More then he's ever loved Erica, or even Jade."

The mention of Jades name made my heart speed up again. She was still a bit of a sore spot to Louis. And it was hard for me to hear about her.

"I know, I love him a lot too."

"He's going to be okay. I promise." Chris gave me a reassuring smile.

"Thank you, Chris. I needed to hear that." I let out a breath and gave him a smile.

"Yeah, I think I should head home. Take Jess home too, her mom is worried." Chris said making me frown again. Once again someone was hurt because of me.

"Okay. I'll call you okay?"

"Yeah, let me know what's going on." Chris turned to Jessa softly shaking her. Jessa's eyes opened softly as Chris kneeled down so he was leveled with her.

"Come on, I'm going to take you home." Chris pulled Jessa's arm halting her to stand up. They were adorable.

"Bye Shay," Chris held Jessa around her waist walking her out but he waved and gave me a synthetic glance.
