Chapter 4: 7 Hours Until Dawn

I stand on the balcony, looking out into the dark. I rub my eyes with my hands and look out into the forest, my eyes widening. I swallow and stand completely still.

I close my eyes and slow my breathing. I watch the shadow creature stalk through the trees. It disappears further into the forest and I sigh, releasing my breath hearing the floor boards creak. I turn around but no one is there.

"Josh? J-Josh, this isn't funny..." I look around. No footprints, no evidence, nothing. I walk back inside and look around. Chris and Ashley are gone. I hear heavy, paced footsteps. I look around.

"Josh? Josh, is that you?" I look around a corner, my face right up against a masked man.

"AHHHHHHHH FUCK!!!" I fall backwards and crawl, the man simply walking towards me.

"Hello, Claire." He says, with a voice that isn't quite human. It sound like he used a vocal changing device to change the sound of his voice, making it sound demonic and almost terrible to the ears. I push myself up and run. I stop and turn around in a living room. I stop right next to the fireplace, the mystery man right behind me. I grab a chopped log from the fireplace and chuck it, whacking him right in the head. He staggers, giving me enough time to run, or hide somewhere.

A/N: Thanks for the support on this story, but the real point of this an is to ask you, my readers, will CLaire hide, or will she run? And if she runs, where, and if she hides, where should she hide? PS I have more ideas for another fanfic about Until Dawn, should I publish it on Wattpad or is that to much? Just wondering, lemme know in the comment section!! BAI!
