You Chose: Wiggle Your Way Out

It's not like Josh will hear me. I struggle with the rope, feeling a little space between my wrists and the rough material. I move my fingers, trying to find the knot. My fingers come across the knot and after a while of fumbling with it, the knot comes loose. I stand up and walk over to the tool table, feeling a hand around my ankle.

"D-don't leave me alone..." Josh says quietly. I sigh, trying to hold back tears. I untie him and look back at the tool table. Before I have time to choose a weapon I hear a blood curdling screech. I grab Josh and run out of the door.

"Where are we going?" Josh says.

"I'm taking you back to the lodge, so we can protect our friends!" I say, trudging along through the snow storm with Josh on my tail. I watch as the hideous wendigo jumps out in front of me, blocking the path. It walks closer.

"Josh, don't move...." I whisper. He stands still, but the creature senses him as he is heavily breathing. It walks closer to him, and I spot the butterfly tattoo on it's shoulder.

"Hannah?" I whisper. It turns to me, it's eyes cold and heartless. It crawls closer to me, letting out it's ear shattering scream. This is the moment, risk my life for my friends, or let them die?
