Oh god. As soon as I walked into the school I saw Georgia and Mia. I wanted to turn around and walk the other way but our lockers were right next to each other.
I let out sigh then walked over there.
"So how was yesterday?" Georgia asked me after a second of awkward silence.
"Good" I said back with a smile.
"So where do you know her from?" Mia asked not making eye contact.
"Church camp" I replied.
They just looked at each other.
"What?" I asked, they didn't say anything.
I just sighed and walked away.Later that day I got a text from Jaycee,
J:hey, want to hang out? I can pick you up.Reading it made my stomach tighten.
I wanted to go but I wasn't sure why, there was just something about Jaycee that intrigued and amazed me.
It was like she was mysterious but also kinda felt like home.
I just don't know how she makes me feel, and that hand holding thing yesterday. I just, I don't know man,Me: sounds awesome, say around 5:30?
Then a few minutes later she replied,
J:sounds good

"I'm heading out with friends" I said walking out the door hoping not to be stopped but,
"Wait! come here" my mom said so I turned around and headed to the kitchen.
"Well don't you look snazzy" she said looking at my outfit.
I'm not going to lie, I tried to dress up a bit.
"which friends?" she asked. I knew I had to lie but the question was which one to go with.
"Well actually, just a friend. Um, I met her a church camp this summer" I said hoping for it to work.
"Well I want to meet her" she said.
I stopped her by stepping in front of her, "Well actually she a camp counselor who is in college, so please don't embarrass me"
"Okay, I trust you, be home by nine-thirty"
"Yes ma'am" I kissed her on the cheek, "I love you" then I headed out the door.
She was in front of a sports car smiling at me.
"You look nice" she said walking over and hugging me, "Thank you"
She took a step back and put her arms out, "Are you not going to compliment me?"
"Oh, um, sor-" she stopped me.
"Im kidding, god youre adorable" she stared at me for a moment the opened up the passenger door for me.
After I got in she walked around the car and got in, "Where are we going?"
"Well that is a surprise" she said looking at me with a smile.
