On my own, I walked out of the Bridge and into the meeting room. I closed the door locking it quietly, before whispering demands to myself: I am not going to breakdown, I will not breakdown. My tears ran quickly down my cheeks and onto my dress despite my demands. Ok new demands: I am not going to meltdown, I will not meltdown. Despite my demands I walked over to the wall and thumped my clenched fist against it making a huge bang as I did so "ARGH!". As I comforted my hand I slid down the wall, bringing my knees to my chest crying into them.
I heard a small knock on the door and it slid open "Jessica are you in here?" Bones had tried to find me
"Yea I'm the lump of wet mess in the corner" He laughed slightly before coming and sliding down next to me "how did you get in?"
"Medical override code" He had wrapped his warm strong arm around my shoulders and let me cry into his shoulder "the more important question is how are we going to get our crew back?"
"I don't know but I have an idea"
"And that is?"
"I'm going to teleport to that ship and get them all back hopefully"
"Are you sure that will work?" He looked at me amazed
"I said it was an idea not my final plan" I smiled "by the way how did you find me?"
"I heard a loud bang on the wall and thought you might be having a meltdown"
"I do not have meltdowns, they are for the weak"
"I've had a meltdown before" He looked so upset
"Oh I'm sorry" I wrapped my arm around his back comforting him "Why?"
"My...erm...my ex...ex wife...she wanted an abortion" He inhaled as tears came to his eyes. HE'S GOT A CHILD!
"Wanted what happened?"
"I pursuaded her to have it. She's called Joanna and lived with her uncle...Admiral Pike"
"She's related to Admiral Pike I'm so sorry" He died in the gun fight a few days ago
"Thanks" He stood up and pulled me up by my hands "Now we have to get Lucy back"
My plan was set, I was to teleport to the U.S.S. Vengance, retrive the crew and my sister and knockout Khan to bring him back to his kryotube, and we were walking to the Teleportation Room so it could be put in action. I stood on the Pad with Bones infront and Spock over comm
"Miss Carino be careful they have weapons ready to fire. And as we know he is a very dangerous man. Good luck"
"Thanks Spock" The comm was turned off
"No pressure" I smiled at Bone's comment
"Thanks Bones" He hugged me tightly as if he was saying I might not see you again but lets make it last a lifetime. For his information I would love it to last a lifetime. I felt safe in his arms, with his minty smell and that he wouldn't let anything bad happen to me. He pulled away slightly and kissed my forehead, it was so warm and sweet.
"Good luck Jessica I'll be monitoring your health. Just to know you're safe" He stepped off the pad and nodded at Checkov
"Energize" I smiled at Bones to tell him I would be ok before little yellow sparks surrounded me, disolving me into particles.
"Doctor McCoy have you zold Yessica zhat you love her yet?" That was Checkov when he thought me comm wasn't on "Oh sorry sir"
"I can hear you guys" I got up and looked around at my surroundings it was dark and dull but lots of corridors
"JAY!" Lucy was over comm why
"Miss Carino, Lucy just appeared on zhe pad" I ran to where I thought the Bridge was but was stopped by guards who dragged me by the arms.
"KHAN!" That black haired kidnapper was in the Captains chair with a dead body behind it. He looked like he had his skull crushed
"Ahhh Jessica how's life?"
"WHERE IS LUCY?"
"Oh didn't you hear? I teleported your crew to that ship. It's just more people to kill really"
"YOU BASTARD!" I tried slapping him but the guards just tightened their grip
"Now now Jessica let's not get a temper" He was calm
"Oh you ain't seen nothing yet" He nodded at the guards who let go of me
"I also have my crew aswell look" He showed me a camera feed to the Cargo Bay "Mr Spock gave them to me"
"May the Enterprise prepare for iminate proximity damage"
What was Sp...There was a rumble running throughout the ship make it shake violently.
"Jay watch out" Lucy was with Bones, Ashley and Callum...she would be safe. There was a sharp pain in my head before I only saw darkness.
There was a cold wind rushing by my head, I sat up but was stopped by an immense pain in my left wrist. I looked to see a large part of ship on my hand and arm trapping me under. I felt a hand under my shoulder and the weight of the part was lifted Someone has me I'm safe. I couldn't be more wrong. I turned to see black hair and an evil smile Khan. "Get off me Khan" He pulled away from the wreckage and turned to face the gap in the ship. There was a huge city underneath us with a huge red bridge...San Francisco. Why would we want San Francisco? Oh my gosh he wants to destroy the Academy and Headquaters! I slapped him creating a red mark and my wrist exploded in pain Why the hell did I just slap him with my bad hand you idiot? All he did was run and jump.
If I had to do anything in the world it would not be free-falling without a parachute with an evil bastard being the only thing between life and death. 10 feet...20 feet...30 feet...Ow we had landed on a building and were sliding down its glass windows Hi San Francisco, I'm back.
He put me down on the pavement and started walking off grabbing a coat from a near table. I turned my comm back on "Enterprise do you copy?" There was worry in my voice but hearing 3 voices now would be great.
"Jessica. My god I thought you'd died, you weren't talking for ages. Are you ok?" The southern accent made me feel dizzy and smile. I looked down at my wrist, blood pouring out and a little bone showing, and lied "Yea I'm good Khan's walking off should I follow him?"
"Spock and Uhura are coming to your coordinates don't worry. I can now tell two little girls you're ok" Lucy and Ashley
"Oi we're not little girls!" 2 more voices came through both made me laugh. There were two seperate parts of little yellow sparks dissolving particles infront of me. A pointy eared man in a blue jumper and a darker woman in a red dress
"Spock...Uhura. Khan went that way" I pointed giving them full view of my wrist
"Doctor McCoy get ready to reccive Miss Carino's badly injured wrist"
"Jessica you told me you were ok"
"Thank you Spock now he'll worry about me and I don't want him too"
"Now he'll worry about you! He almost had a heart attack when you stopped talking saying that he'd die if something happened to yo...Ow Spock" He had lightly punched her arm. As my eyes widened, I became very dizzy and the little yellow sparks didn't help either.
I opened my eyes in the Teleportation Room on the Enterprise. Three people ran up to me all in diffrent coulors "Ashley...Lucy...Bones" My vision was fading and I grabbed onto Bone's hand, warm as always. I took one look into his soft brown eyes before closing mine and falling.
