Sorry for not updating much but I couldn't think of any ideas. As it's now 2016 I might as well do a New Years chapter. Hope you all had a great 2015! This was meant to be a Christmas chapter but...writers block I think it is. No ideas just a whole lot of blank pages.
The Captain told me and Bones to find a plant only found in a deep cave on a deserted planet. We had got to the deepest part of the cave and there was a bright light coming from the ground.
"Hey Bones come check this out"
"What is it?"
"I think I found it" he walked over smiling
"Yea that's it well done now let's dig it up" we knelt on the ground and started scraping the dirt away. We picked up the plant and started to walk out but we were stopped. Two heavily built grown Klingons approached us with guns. The stronger or the two came over to me and took the plant from me "Thanks sweetheart" he stroked my face before being punched by Bones. He backed away before the gun sounded. I wasn't hurt so I looked at the full grown man in a blue jumper falling to the floor. He moved his hand from his side to see blood from his side "Nooo!"
"Nooo!" I shot up to see two girls run into my room, Ashley and Lucy
"Jay what's wrong?" Ashley asked
"Nothing just...a...a bad dream"
"Aww Jay I'm sorry" Lucy said snuggling next to me. My mind jumped back to the dream
"Where's Bones is he OK?"
"Oh thanks. Care about your boyfriend more than your sister and best friend"
"Is he OK though?" I was getting quite annoyed
"Yea he is I think you'd better go and see him"
"I'd enjoy that but I don't need a Doctor today"
"Yes you do Jay now go" Ashley pulled me off the bed and into Med Bay
"OK next please" I walked through the door "Jessica why are you here?"
"Ashley wanted me to come here because of..."
"Yes why?"
"Nothing she just wants me checked"
"OK sure are you going to the New Years party Jim's doing later?"
"Yea seems fun. I hear he still has his mistletoe up from Christmas"
"Why because Carol wouldn't kiss him? Well you look to be perfectly well so go and get changed" I kissed him on the cheek and walked out to my room
Knock knock knock
I answered the door to a very grumpy looking man with sequins and glitter all over his blue medical shirt. "It was the only shirt I could find and Jim wants me to wear it"
"You look hilarious...I don't think sparkles suit you. Oh I'm sorry I can't keep a straight face" I started laughing possibly more than ever
"Oh ha ha ha very funny isn't it. The grumpy Doctor covered in sparkles. Come on and by the way you look beautiful in that dress" My knee length red and yellow dress fit me perfectly. I took his arm and we walked to where Jim was holding his party.
Jim opened the door, when he saw Leonard's shirt he had to hold himself upright on the wall from laughter "Come on in Jay and Doctor Shiny" We walked in and I hid my smiling face from Bones.
I was never really good at parties, I'd just hang around with my siblings who were the first people I found. Callum had brought his fiancée Veronica and Lucy was talking to Ash and Checkov. I walked over to them as Doctor Shiny went to get us drinks.
"Hi Guys"
"Hi Jay" Unison is a great thing
"Where's Doctor McCoy?"
"Gone to get me a water. You have to see his top its hilarious" As if on cue Doctor Sequins walked over with drinks and all but him erupted into laughter
"Sorry Bones. I don't think you've met Callum yet have you?"
"No. Well as your Jessica pointed out I'm Leonard McCoy" He held out his hand
"Oh no she didn't say that Ash asked where Doctor McCoy was. I'm Lucy and Jessica's older brother" He shook it gently
"I've definitely met Miss Veronica. How are you today?"
"Well I'm great considering I'm 7 months pregnant with morning sickness each day"
Suddenly Jim got onto a table to get our attention "Its almost New Year Guys look out the window" Everyone moved to the large windows. My hand was found by another and interlinked. I looked to the owner and as the lights turned off his brown eyes sparkled as much as his shirt.
The countdown began "10...9...8...7...6...5" I was reminded of the Enterprise when he almost died. The scariest day of my life. Tonight was different though, it was a night for new beginnings, new love and a time for more adventures. "2...1...HAPPY NEW YEAR" I looked towards Doctor Sparkles, a tradition of most people was to have a New Years Kiss. I leaned towards him and closed my eyes. Seconds later I met his lips. As we drew apart we both looked into each others eyes and said 3 words "Happy New..." We were cut off by an older man "Jessica, Lucy and Callum get over here now!" All 3 of us turned and said in unison "Dad?"
