Chapter 18

AUBREE'S POV
Omg no she did not I can't believe she just said hi to Taniah. Are they even friends?

TANIAH'S POV
I was hoping Lexi wouldn't say anything but that didn't happen. As long as she doesn't say anything rude to me or Aubree we are good we don't want mean Aubree to come out, if she come out I don't think she will go back in.

"Hey Taniah" Lexi says
"Hey Lexi"
"Hi no one worth my breath" Lexi says to Aubree
"THAT'S IT" Aubree says she takes off her jacket and rings and phone puts them in the buggy and goes after Lexi. I grab her arms to keep her from going after her.
"Aubree it's not worth it"
"LET GO OF ME I NEED TO MAKE A DENT IN HER UGLY FACE"
"Aubree stop she not worth going to jail you have your brothers to take care of and after what she's going to do she won't be able to see her sisters anymore" she stops struggling and turns to look at me
"What is she going to do"
"Umm...." before I could say anything else Lexi punches Aubree in the back of the head and knocks her out cold and takes off running.
"Aubree wake up please, please wake up I need you please" I say while crying. I call the cops to take us to the hospital.

LEXI'S POV
Why did I just do that I think while running through walmart to go get into Tobys truck. I get in and drive to his grandparents house. The whole way there I am crying and feel really bad about what happened although no one will ever believe me.

TANIAH'S POV

I am sitting at the hospital with Aubree's younger brothers who are really cranky and tired. since I have Aubree's phone I decide to go through her contacts to see if anyone would come pick up her brothers. while I am scrolling through her contacts there is one that says grandma.

PHONE CONVERSATION

g- hello

t- hi this is one of Aubree's friends and she is at the hospital and I was wondering if you could come and pick up her little brothers while I stay here and keep an eye out for her

g- oh my what happened

t- umm lets just say she got hit in the head pretty hard and is out cold

g- oh ok I will be there in a few minutes

t- ok bye

g- bye

TOBY'S POV

I hear the truck pull up and the car door slams. Lexi is in a bad mood. She comes in empty handed

"where is all the stuff you were suppose to get" I ask

"call the thing off"

"what thing"

"we cant kidnap her anymore"

"what why not I thought this was your dream to get revenge on her for what she did to you"

"technically she didn't do anything to me I just wanted you to think that so she could be hurt because her life is so perfect and mine isn't perfect"

"your life is perfect with or without me"

"maybe I should leave and never return I think its for the best"
