Chapter 23

AUBREE'S POV
I'm so excited I can't believe I meet a really cute guy at the store. When we left the store I started driving to work. When we pulled into the parking lot I got Like out of his car seat and carried him in. When I got into my office the whole room was rearranged there wasn't just one desk in my office but know there was two, I read the name and it didn't sound familiar. I marched to my bosses office and the new guy was standing there, when he turned around he had a little boy in his arms just like I had Luke in mine. Then I realized it was Dallas. I can't believe I would be sharing an office with a really cute guy that I met only a couple of hours ago.

DALLAS'S POV
Wow after I saw that girl in the store I knew I had to see her again. When she turned around to walk away I saw the logo on the back of her shirt Techno that's when I knew I had to work there, so I got a job interview and the boss asked if I could come in this morning. So here I am starring at this beautiful girl with a bundle of joy in her arms.
"Hi I'm Dallas and it look like we are going to be sharing an office" I say
"Oh hi I'm Aubree follow me and I will show you where the office is" she says as she starts to walk off. I follow behind trying not to wake up Peter. We walk into an office and she lays her brother I'm guessing (since she mentioned it at the store) onto a pile of pillows and blankets into the floor and gets to work.

BECKY'S POV
Me and Blake are sitting here in the living room watching Go Diego, when the doorbell rang. I got up and opened the door and saw a girl standing there in tears.
"May I help you" I asked her
"Is Aubree here" she asks
"No who are you"
"I'm Lexi and I need to talk to her"
"OK hold on just stay out here and let me call her real quick just to make sure you are who you say you are"

I run inside and grab my phone and dial her number.

PHONE CALL

A- becky, is everything OK
M- yeah but there's a girl at your door and she is in tears and says she needs to talk to you she says her name is Lexi
A-does she have red hair
M- yeah
A-ok just let her in and I will be there in a few minutes
M- OK

END OF PHONE CALL

She said you could come on in. Lexi walks in and sits on the couch.

DALLAS'S POV
I heard Aubree's phone, when she answered it She looked concerned then she relaxed. After she hung up the phone, she organized her desk grabbed the little boy and left. I didn't know if I did something or if that was just another phone call excuse.

AUBREE'S POV
I felt bad just leaving like that, he probably thinks I don't want to be around him. I really hope this doesn't ruin our date on Sunday.
