Chapter 9

LEXI'S POV
I stand at the bottom of the stairs wand watch my dad walk out the front door. I have an idea I'm going to call and see if me and my sisters can go stay with Aubree but I doubt it.

PHONE CALL
A-what
L-my dad left us and I'm really scared
A-and Im suppose to believe that
L-well I was kinda hoping you would
A-I can't handle this any more I can't stay mad at you forever
L-sooo were all good
A-yeah I guess so if you need someone to talk to come to my house
L-ok be there in a few minutes

After we hung up I decided I would clean up the house and baby proof some of it and get the baby gate out and set it up for them to play in.

LEXI'S POV
I got some shoes on then I got the baby carrier for the twins I put the carrier on and put one in and carried the other. As I walked out the house I locked the door and kept the key with me instead of putting it in the garden behind the rose bush. I walked down the drive way and down the street to Aubree's house. When I got to Aubree's house I stood there and looked into her moms window and I saw something it looked like a person in the window, it looked like Aubree's mom.
