One, she loved. The other, her lover.

There comes a time in everyone's life when they lose something very important to them.

Whether it was toy they kept hidden for safety, or the stash of snacks that had tremendously great value, or even someone who they thought they could not live without, they may be taken away without prior notice.

For a while, they grieve and hurt, but always, no matter how long it takes, get over it eventually.

Even if if was just for a time, one had the chance to cherish something to its fullest- which is why we must be mindful of everything with us now.

Because you'll never know when it will be taken away.

--

She was nothing special.

Wore the clothes she had, ate the food she was given, went to places she was asked.

She came across as one of those people who were there, doing everyday things, living an everyday life- but that's what she remained doing, just being there.

But as society continues to blind everyone, this went unnoticed; she, or anyone else for that matter, were unconscious of the fact that she was still somebody, a living human.

To many, she was part of the scenery that lay in front of them, and she remained just that, a scenery.

For many, excluding Tsukishima Kei.

Now this boy, this boy was a blunt and annoyingly sarcastic teenager, who came across as the rude and snappy guy no one liked.

The boy who seemed like he had only mimicked human emotions, and inside felt nothing but the coldness of his abandoned heart.

But no, Tsukishima Kei did not mimic human emotions, or suffer the cold of his heart; he was perfectly human, with a heart that was still pumping blood at an average temperature.

All that was different about him was that he was stubborn, and he did not like admitting to much, which projected a bored and never-satisfied personality.

The thing is, he often lied to people, saying he was fine when he was not, saying he was bothered by too many when all he wanted was to be noticed by anyone who would care, saying he didn't care when he did.

Including himself.

Even if he kept denying it, he enjoyed volleyball, he enjoyed having someone like Yamaguchi around, he enjoyed seeing a certain someone- even if it was only for a second.

Nothing could change what he truly felt inside, not even the countless lies he has told himself.

Kageyama Tobio was also, undoubtedly, a normal person with normal feelings.

With the title of an egocentric king and a heartless dictator, he is left trying to reach for anything that he could cling on to remain sane.

Everyone had failed to see that he did not mean to be so insensitive, which got really tiring, having to deal with every single day of his life; rumors and gossip spread like a wildfire, thanks to the judgemental world.
