The stars lean down to kiss you

He could feel the bed dip down as she positioned herself beside him, the lights closed and the beam of moonlight shining through the window splashing on the pillows.
"Keiji," she said softly, "I'm cold."
He nodded, slowly wrapping his arms around her, her hair tickling his nose as he could smell the scent of shampoo she had used.
"Thanks," she mumbled, snuggling into his chest for more warmth.
His eyes started to fall as he drifted off to dreamland with her in his own arms, like a little boy and a giant teddy bear.
That night, the two slept soundly in each others arms, treasuring the comfort they found in each other.
I'll watch the night turn light blue
But it's not the same without you
Because it takes two to whisper quietly
"Keiji! You'll never guess what happened!" she yelled, engulfing the boy in a giant hug as she gripped tightly on a piece of paper.
"What happened?" he asked, smiling and hugging her back.
"You know that university I wanted to go to? I got accepted!" she told him, letting go and waving the paper in front of his face.
His smile fell as his eyes took a good look at the paper, his world seeming like it was falling apart all so slowly, and all so suddenly.
"You're moving away, right?" he asked softly, still trying to process what was happening and what the results of the situation would be.
"Well, yeah..." she answered, scratching her head, her smile fading too as she realized what that meant. "But we can still video chat, and I can still visit! I promise I won't fall for anyone else,"
He nodded slightly, avoiding eye contact as his heart throbbed, the pain in his chest growing bigger because he knew,
It wouldn't be the same.
The silence isn't so bad
'Till I look at my hands and feel sad
'Cause the spaces between my fingers
