ELI'S POV
"So I think the guy likes you." Cassie said drinking her water.
"Who?"
"Alex."
"What?! That's a no-no to me, you know."
"Come on Elizabeth, I know you since we've been to highschool."
"That doesn't mean I like him. Would stop glaring your eyes like you don't agree on me."
"I don't." She drinks her bottled water.
"Fine! Whatever."
"See! That's what you say when you have nothing to say. Hmm..let's see what I can find on him."
"Shut up, nerd! Now, if you just put my mess in trash, I would be happy."
"Fine, queen."
Walking to my car, I contemplated things on me liking Alex, while Cassie is busy chatting herself. It was like What the hell, Eli! You liking Alex, No Way! He's not your freaking type, you know! Of course, I can't like him, he's not my social preferences.
"Hey, are you even listening to what I'm saying?" Cassie groaned.
"No." I said typing on my phone.
"Bitch, as always." She whispered.
"I can hear you."
"You know------"
She was cut by a hot guy walking just outside the school. Cassie, shrugged my elbows, so I turned to what she's referring to. The person I hated the most.
What Eli?!?! Can you repeat it again? Hated? Well, I don't believe on the saying "The more you hate, the more you love." Geeky quotes. Then he rode his motorbike, as he see us, he stopped by.
"Afternoon, Ladies!" Alex greeted.
"Evening." I corrected.
Well, 6pm onwards for me is like evening already.
"Oh. About to. So where are you girls up to?" He checked his wristwatch.
"Why do you care. Could you just mind your own life."
"Mind Your Own Life, that's pretty funny. Hmm..that's new to me. Nice comeback, huh." He blinks.
Ugh! Do you think, you're handsome wearing that black shirt of yours. I can see Cassie on my side looking at him dreamily. Why does many people like him? Me, Doesn't liking him, means the opposite one!
Something caught me a while.
"Can I have your number, cutie."
"Cassie!"
Why did I do that?!?!?!
"Uhm..honestly, I don't use mobile phones. I can't buy one of those."
"Like any phones? Numbers?"
"30." He said. "And just so you know, I like someone now. She's beautiful."
Who in the world would say ugly on their girlfriends. And Gods! 30 is my lucky number. Impersonator.
"Okay." Cassie finishes.
***
"Can you do my homework? You're smart enough to finish mine." Ashton pleaded.
"I'm busy Ash. I'm finishing my physics homework."
"Why don't you just say No, if you don't want to."
He went out of my room, as I heard the gates opening again, means my parents are already home. Woah! 7:30 pm. Great.
Now I can't finish this.
