16: Day 10 - Destiny

ALEX'S POV

*********Day 10**********

"Hahahaha!!" I was laughing continuously at the movie I'm watching, 'Home Alone 3'.

The men were running to get inside the house but they're unfortunate because the boy is technically smart to use bombs. I'm alone in the house now cause mom used to go to hospital on weekends.

I heard my phone rang inside my room but someone knocked before I get there.

"Hello? Is someone home?" Someone called.

I think I know who it is. The E-Sharp.

"Hi."

I was wrong. Why would I think of that. Of course she'll not go here, this isn't her type of place, dude. It's Clarisse, my neighbor.

"Hey Alex." Clarisse snapped.

"Oh. Come in."

"So I went to give you uhm..this. I baked for Aunt Sam. Is she home?"

"Sorry, she's not here."

"Please say that, I've gone by. Thanks Alex!"

"Sure."

Then I decided to have some fresh air outside. I finally left in least than a minute. I plugged on my earphones, ***And I swear, I'll be there, anytime you want me to, I'll be true, here for you, don't leave me lonely cause I need you..***.

Then I saw a familiar face, I wanted to see everyday. Talking about destiny, sometimes I dreamed like this but I know it doesn't happen in real life, fake things do.

Just as I was about to approach her, I noticed that we're about to meet each other then I finally met her eyes. How I wish she's smiling the way I can make her happy.

The view was perfect, it's at the park, infront of the fountain.

"You!!" Eli shouted.

"Can't you complete your day without shouting on me?"

"Since when did you care? No one bothers what I do."

"Seems like you're happy?" I asked.

"I've been with you all day but can't notice any of my emotions."

"No there's one I know."

"Hm?"

"Poker."

"Out of my way!"

"Hey! I'm just kidding, chill out."

"Quit your douchè-fullness if you don't want me walking out on you."

"Oh, so now I know what's the attitude you don't like. Noted, Ms. Rosewoods."

"What are you talking about?"

"You know something about fountains?"

"Hmm..oh, they do this!"

She walked near the fountain and splashed me with water.

"Hey don't start yet, baby, we'll get there just let me say this thing first."

"No, I don't care about that." She's shouting.

Then I walked inside the fountain and splashed her more until she also came inside it. We continued splashing each other until we got wet.

Then I got the chance moving near her then I cupped her face.

"When you get into a fountain, you have to wish!" I said.

"You're Clichè!"

"Atleast I don't do it with a coin."

"Whatever!"

"What did you say..." I splashed her again.

"Here's your towel."

I threw her a towel and some bunch of stuff.

"Thanks. So this is your father." Eli said while draining her hair.

"Hmm..yup, well I grew up with him but we're not close."

"Oh. So what do you do here?"

"Sleeping, eating, stud------"

"What the hell alex, of course aside from that."

"I do helping of chores all the time, and bonding with my mother and mails."

"I think I can't live in this place."

"Yes you can, if you do."

"I didn't dreamed of living a place like this."

"Of course! Who would have dream a place like this!" I grinned.

We talked a lot about living in this place and we ate chips and she ordered Mcdo burger and fries with ice cream, her favorites.

"Time will come, I will know everything about you and someone will ask me about it."

"Sho?" She ate with a burger inside her mouth.

"Crazy jeez, would you talk like things making sense."

"Nothing comes to my mind."

"Oh yeah!"

I grabbed her burger and ate it all.

"Hey!!!!!!"

"Shorry."

"Thank you, Alex..for today. I enjoyed a lot."

"Wait? What can you repeat it again?"

"I said, thank you Al----"

"You saying such 'thank you' what a miracle God."

"Get yourself up dude! I'm going."

"You're welcome. Wait there, I'll just get my keys."

"No, it's fine. I'll just get to the next side street, I'm not a baby anymore, so.."

"Yeah! Take care, baby!" I shouted.

*********Day 11*************

ELI'S POV

I woke up at 5am. How early was that. First time I woke up without people opening the curtains so that I can wake up easily with the help of the sun.

I opened my laptop and search about fountains. Then I see a picture of a boy and a girl inside it, with a caption 'Love Begins with Happiness', yeah right, just in time.

But Alex was right, well, I do believe on wishing on it. I believe on fairytales and everything, I just don't want myself caught by boys so easily.

At the moment he cupped my face, I've already made my wish. 'I wish you could be the right man for me in time.'

I snapped to the reality when my phone rang, it was my alarm. Oh Gods! I have my homeworks undone. I've enjoyed my weekend so much!
