7: Day 2 : I Think I Like You

ALEX'S POV

**DAY 2**

"Give me that!" Eli screamed, reaching for her favorite jacket.

"Nope. Unless you say your topest secret." I grinned.

"I said, NO! You first." She became mellow.

"Me..hmm..I'm the most handsome person, Eli have ever met." I chuckled.

"Is that a secret?"

"Yeah."

ELI'S POV

I'm not going to tell him my topest secret. Never. Who in their right minds would say to the person they like that they like them. No. That was embarrassing. But, on one side of me, already wants to tell him.

"So what's yours now?" He asked.

"M..Me..I..I..I'm afraid of spiders."

"Aww..a lot of people already know it."

"I don't care. That's it! Let me have my jacket now!"

"Shhhh! Be quiet." The librarian said.

"I told you, don't scream." He said.

"Hi Alex! Goodluck to the play." Cindy greeted.

"Who's that?" I whispered.

"My Ex."

My eyes widen at his sudden revelation. The girl is just tall as I am and skinny, straight hair blonde.

"I can see your face blushed. Don't worry, that's not true." He blinked.

"Whatever! Get away from me."

I walked to the hall fastly so I can escape from him. Seeing him, chasing me, I accidentally bumped to someone.
Gods!

"S-s-sorry. I--I didn-----" Alex ran to help me stand up.

"My bad." The guy chuckled. "Watch your step next time." He concluded, and walked away.

"Take the consecquences." I automatically missed Alex's presence.

It was like counting hours without him on my side. We walked to our homeroom quietly.

"Hey you okay?" He asked.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine."

Then, all of a sudden, he hugged me tightly. It was like coming back to my home. The feeling when you already like someone you can't escape your feelings for them. You stay like you live with them forever.

I missed this feeling. I've waited for this to happen. When someone is there for you when you need. It's Alex, maybe that's why, many girls like him.

"You fine now?"

"Yeah." I smiled.

Then we walked on our chairs, then I put down all the books I gathered.

"Beautiful." He said.

"I'm going to put this back again."

"Oh sorry."

"So, The play will start next week. I just announced before the class ends. Alex, come with me." Ms. Reesh and Alex walked out of the room.

"So..what's with the hug?" Cassie asked.

"Ugh! Don't talk to me!"

"Geez! Hot tempered girl alert."

The bell rang as we stood on our seats still no sign of Alex on my sight. Walking pass the teacher's table, Ms. Letherson, smiled to me.

"Congratulations, Eli! You've got A+ on my subject."

"Thanks!"

I gathered all my things when I got a text from Alex.

'Meet me at the parking.'

I rolled my eyes seeing him. This guy is practically out of his mind. He removed his vest uniform and left his white polo, 2 buttons down, with sunglasses on.

"There's no sun, dummy."

"Have you seen the handsome man, leaning on this car?" He removed his glasses.

"No." I gave him a cranky smile.

While driving home, Alex got me pizza on the way which is one of my favorite food. I always crave for pizzas. When I finally got home, Alex bidded his goodbye to me quickly.

"Hey Eli, how's your day?" Dad greeted me.

"If you're going to please me with your nonsense, would you just stop."

"Fine. I'll be at my-----"

Before dad finishes his words I quickly walked to my room. There's a freaking changes on the family. What is happening. Neither of this is happening.

In a daily routine, no one is greeting me in the house. They're just there to serve me everything I need. But social attachment. No. I don't know why people are changing anyway.

"Hello?" I answered on my phone.

"Hey! Got your number." Alex on the line.

"Do I know you sir?"

"Yup! The guy you almost like."

Geez! Whatever! How can this guy find my way of smiling. The guy who made me smile everyday because of his nonsense and wasted jokes.

"Really! You're calling for that!"

"Aww, I just wanna hear your voice."

"Of course Not. Actually I don't wanna hear it so bye."

I quickly hang up before anything started. I shouldn't be talking too him, right? If I don't want my feelings to grow for him.

In a minute, I received a text, yeah, it was him, who would it be?

'First phone talk..made sense ;)'

It was already 8 in the clock when a juice and a sandwich came in my room. See. No one is greeting me except for serving me.

I woke up in the middle of the night. Just to see Alex, calling.

"What?" I asked annoyed.

"Oh! You're still awake! Oh well, who would decline me, right."

Hearing his words I hang up, much to annoy him. Ha! I got you, douchebag! No words can express an Elizabeth Rosewoods. Then he called again.

"Hey. Sorry, I guess?"

"If you don't want yourself bugged up, don't ruin anybody's life."

"Fine. But Eli, I want to tell you something. I keep thinking of this and I----"

"Okay! What's it?!?!"

"I think I like you."

My heart suddenly exploded. What did he just say? He like me! YEEEEEES!! Deep inside me wants to jump around! I'm so grrrrrr! When the person you like, liked you back! I can feel myself blushed. I can't breathe.

"Oh...okay. I, I'm still sleepy, I need to..to go back to bed."

"O--kay. Goodnight Eli. Sleep tight."
